If konami was smart they would have included "Extra Deck" as part of the fusion materials for future synchro fusions. Anyways, this card has been out for a very long time, but are there any other uses for it besides its OTK?

All I can think of is D-Hero End Dragoon.

The Destroy part..can Stardust Negate that? XD

No' date=' Stardust can only negate at the activation of the card, and Chain Material doesn't destroy anything when it activates.

Ah, okay, was wondering. This would have been so lulzy.

So, anyway, this is an okay card, idk how I'd use it...DX

This card is the fastest way to bring out the Vehicroid fusions with Vehicroid Connection Zone and the fusion monster won't get destroyed by this card.

Hey, I was going to say that!

Shadowpriestess of Ohm + This + Fusion Gate is also a 3-card OTK. It's not as searchable as Catapult, but it is a Summoner Monk target.

Now I want to make that deck...

I only use one copy of Chain Material in my Roid deck because to me, two or three of this were dead draws. It's either that or Yugioh WC 2009 likes to mess with my draws. Sometimes I keep forgetting that you can't attack when you activate this card.

I almost forgot' date=' if you chain this to Super Polymerization you can destroy the universe. All 12 of it. Or something.

Woooooooah. If we got some weird sort of blob fusion that could use ANY two monsters as the fusion materials, your opponent would cry.

Ascendant Polymerization

Pay 3000 LP. Select one Fusion Monster and send the materials from anywhere in play' date=' the monster can't attack and its effect is negated during the turn it is summoned

too lazy for OCG, but this^

I wish there was a way to remove the destruction part of the effect, otherwise this card could have been a huge help for any fusion deck. Would it be OP'ed? I don't think so. Something like what you had come up with is what we need still though.
