Toffee.
Ya rlyYou can send 1 Dragon-Type monster from your hand to the Graveyard to have this card gain 300 ATK. When this card you control is sent to Graveyard by your opponent's card effect' date=' you can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type Normal Monster from either player's Graveyard.[/quote'] This is IDEAL for any deck that runs Blue Eyes White Dragon + White Stone of Legend. And you gotta' like how the ATK increase is permanent. ~/Coolio Prime\~
From my old thread:1: TypeObviously, being a Dragon helps. He's not one of those out of line support cards like a Dragon that helps Warriors or a Fiend that helps Beasts. As such, he works with REDMD, Strong Wind Dragon, etc. 2: BeatstickingOne discard and he runs over practically any Level 4 monster seeing play. A few more and he is a notable threat. Vanguard can easily exceed 3000 if you play him right and at barely any hand cost(gone into later). The longer this guy stays on the field the stronger he gets, until he reaches an ATK that most monsters just can't beat. Some dead draws go to good use with Vanguard. 3: Safety WallVanguard's last effect can really come in handy. In my deck I've made sure to get a formidable Normal in the Grave, usually by Vanguard's effect. BEWD and Tri-Horned being prime examples. With destructive cards like Mirror Force and Lightning Vortex being prime examples, Van can slightly ease your spirits while you attack, as you can be sure that if they Mirror Force you or Lightning Vortex you next turn, you can bring out an almost or even more deadly monster right off the bat. 4: Hand/Grave ManagementIf your hand has a swarm feel going for it, Vanguard can help there too. He sends Dragons to the Grave, creating targets for REDMD/Swing of Memories/Monster Reborn if you didn't get a Trade In or the such early on. Vanguard can also prepare the grave for a Chaos Sorcerer, and search out BEWD by discarding White Stones. I don't run these, but you can use him to get cards like Totem Dragon in the Grave as well. And as you do all of this, you're making Vanguard himself a force to be reckoned with. I was saddened greatly when I realized this doesn't work with Super Rejuvenation. If it did....<3 <3 <

If it did....<3 <3 <3 NOTHING works with Super Rejuvenation - see also, Genesis Dragon. I never got what its second effect was for - that was before I knew about SOL Hopeless, of course.
