Without Airbellum or Test, Rescue isn't as huge a deal. It wasn't considered "good" before those cards were released. Without Rescue Cat, Airbellum and Test aren't a huge deal. They're decent cards that aren't particularly overpowered. What makes them worse? Rescue Cat. So...you want to ban every card that one support card makes overpowered? Hell, ban all Infernity because Infernity Launcher is broken. Almost all the other cards are reasonably balanced, but Launcher's ridiculous, so all Infernity must die so Launcher can be at 3. Actually, that's a deliberate hyperbole. A less exaggerated claim is "ban Archfiend because Infernity Launcher is broken". Archfiend wasn't a problem until Launcher came out, and without Archfiend, Launcher can be at 3! Rescue Cat may not be a PROBLEM without those two abusable cards, and could actually support the Beast set, but you have to keep in mind which cards are abusable on their own. Rescue Cat can still deck thin, provide Tribute/Synchro fodder, provide abrupt damage with no setup, and other such things. There has to be a line between when that is acceptable and when it's broken. Don't forget, DREV will have more Beast support, which will probably give this thing even more ways to abuse it. On its own, Airbellum is a Don Zaloog with 200 more ATK and a more specific trigger. Being a Tuner makes it better, but not broken. In fact, the only thing wrong with it, as mentioned, is that it's a Beast type and therefore abusable with Rescue Cat. Yup, definitely the fault of Airbellum that a type support card makes it abusable. Let's ban it and not the support card, which can still become abusable in the future. Test Tiger, I barely know anything about. It's archetype specific and gives some speed, but it on its own is probably not broken. Rescue Cat can bring it and a Beast Gladiator Beast and therefore can make it somewhat abusable. Definitely the fault of Test Tiger that Rescue Cat overrides its somewhat balanced design. Sorry, I thought you just said The Fabled were tier 1-2... I'm pretty sure that with all the cards currently in the OCG, they should be =/ Maybe I'm just wrong here, but I know I've seen them get top spots in fairly big OCG tournies before, and when I've played against them before, they tend to be really consistent.
