Denver Posted June 4, 2011 Report Share Posted June 4, 2011 Oh yeah, I owe you guys an explanation as to why I have no chapter.My mother has breast cancer.Unfortunately, I'm completely serious.[spoiler=THE GOOD NEWS]Tumor was taken out today, she found it really early on and acted quickly enough. Oddly enough, her cancer seems to be really rare, only .5% of people who get cancer/breast cancer (one of those) gets it. The cancer's incompetent in that its cell division rate is considerably lower than the norm.That said, the doctors looked her over after the surgery and it doesn't seem like the cancer spread anywhere.But there's no fatality warning, she'll be okay.Chemotherapy's gonna be tough though.
