That Abe is a disguise and his true identity is The Creeper.2. Ice is humoring him by putting Remo under the impression that he one-upped him when in actuality it is all part of a game of manipulation that Ice is weaving to lead Remo's soul through an emotional rollercoaster, slowly filling him with uncertainty and doubt until he develops a sense of worthlessness in which he feels the only way to atone for his sins is to commit hari kari, thus eliminating another problem off Ice's shoulders.
