Concentration Duels

Recommended Posts

Sounds like ass.

So did every other Yu-Gi-Oh anime concept that wasn't a straight up 1-on-1 duel. This includes the Labyrinth with Yugi and Joey and the Paradox Bros' date=' Dungeon Dice Monsters, any version of a Tag Duel and all it's derivatives (such as Jaden and Johan versus Yubel and Chazz versus those 4 or 5 duelists from the weird ice academy), Deck Masters, Capsule Monsters, dueling on motorcycles, the Shadow RPG, and Monster World.

Hell, even the actual card game is garbage.

Then quit and get out. 8)

Fiber Jar' date=' Gandora, CoN, Flare Sarab, Card Shuffle, BRD, RDA, Dark Hole, Barbados, Cyber Jar, EBI Kakouriya. I can keep this up all day.

Ok, lets just presume that the face-down cards are technically your "deck" and not on the field. Makes more sense anyway.

Yusei wanted to use Release Restaint Wave, and he said "I'll be able to get rid of most of his cards". If cards on field are your Deck, RRW won't work, but he wanted to use it. Also, if a monster is summoned, it stays where it was. So you're saying that summoned monsters are still in your Deck? Therefore, all cards on the field are treated as BOTH FIELD AND DECK

Which is a lame part of the game that allows for field nukes to ruin the fun. The rules obviously need to be tweaked for the game to be fun, so the first rule change suggested was to make all facedown cards part of just the deck, not the field.

My only question is what happens with cards that add cards to your hand or cards that discard cards?

Ans why do i feel Infernities would be pretty cool but wouldn't have access to the OTK?

In normal play, you do not have a hand, but if a card would add something to your hand, it's put to the side of the other cards face-up, and is not shuffled when other cards are, so you'll always know where it is. (/ how I'd rule it)

I think I'd use that idea, but I wouldn't keep them face-up. I don't think I'd really use a "hand" for anything.

I imagine looking through the deck would work like normal: pick up your deck, find your card, and shuffle.

How would discarding cards work?

Lightsworns could really give you a disadvantage if you're playing like this. Like say at the end of your turn, its effect gets you to discard a different number of cards and if it turns out you discarded your ace, then it would take forever to find a card to get it back, because all of your cards are face-down.
