OT: Gem Beasts are so awesome. They're like Crystal Beasts, except they look even better.

Not On Topic: Judgment dragon isn't really broken anymore in the pro meta. The whole Lightsworn archetype is dying. I'd rather say, ban @ss Driver (owait, forgot the M!) and the other OTK elements of frogs and sex sabers.

The effect of Judgment Dragon hasn't changed last time I checked it.

But we already had a topic liek that liek, a month ago.Anyhow,Let me show you how a pro does it.6267dcae-9a14-49b6-9fea-1c188bdbeaf5.jpgDISCUSS:How the Ban list is vital aspect of the game.

Given the card pool, the Ban List is there to stop FTKs and other broken s*** from running rampant. Unfortunately, Konami's current list isn't doing its job.

Given intelligent card design, the ban list is not actually a vital aspect of the game. The banlist exists primarily to take cards that should never have been printed and make it as if they never were printed; the Limits and Semi-Limits could largely have been solved with more intelligent design of those few individual cards, such as by having Night Assailant include a clause prohibiting it from fetching another Night Assailant.

Indeed.

JD, DAD and Relinquished. Find the odd one out.

Judgment Dragon is LIGHT. The other 2 are DARK. Judgment Dragon and Dark Armed Dragon are broken. Relinquished isn't. Too hard to determine. Depends on how you look at it.

But Lightsworns are dying for sure.

Indeed they aren't as good as they used to be when Charge and Lumina were at 3 but that fact does not make a broken card not broken. Lumina and Charge both deserve to be at 3 but Konami insists on butchering a Deck's balanced cards instead of killing their broken ones.

I think judgement should go to one.

lolycm

The lightsworn set up is good enough on its own. If you cant win with only 1 judgement then the problem isnt the list, its your constructionof the deck/skills as a player.

If an archetype or Deck type needs a banworthy card to be good said archetype and/or Deck type doesn't deserve to live. Lightsworns are still decent without Judgment Dragon. They're just better with it.

90's the new 100. Oh, and the ban list can't fix the game. The game can't be fixed without being torn apart and started from scratch.

God I would love it if they did that. Old Yugioh was so much more fun. I loved slow yugioh. Yugioh has made its game way to fast.

Challenge:

Play yugioh world championship 2004

Try to make a broken deck

Challenge:

Play Yugioh World Championship 2010

Try to win without a broken deck

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelists of the Roses was a fantastic game

Wut.

That game was ridiculous >__>

As you had to have a deck limit that matched your opponent's limit, and then you find out they filled there deck with a bunch of 0 costing cards to use as meat shields, and then include 1 unstoppable god-monster which fits the whole limit.

I remember I stuggled for an hour and lost to Mai, then tried again, got triple Thunder Dragon and won inside of 5 turns.

I gave up on that game.

Tea, I swear, cheats.

By the time I get something strong going, she "miraculously" powers up everything and has a Winged Egg Elf.

Yes, a freakin' Winged Egg Elf, with an ATK of 5800, and a DEF of 4900

And yet, the field we are playing on, lets that thing move 3 squares at a time.

HOW IS THAT FAIR!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
