The General of Warui's emotion was complete Fury. "SIT DOWN! Insubordination will not be tolerated, though I do appreciate the motive. We are devising a plan to kill thousands of Yoi, down to the last girl and boy. So SIT with the rest of your spirity friends!" he pointed a beefy finger towards where the rest of the spirits were sitting in respect.

 

"Today we discuss the fact that the Warui have declared war on us!" the Yoi general calmly announced, though his voice was magnified.

"I have no need for friends you insolent twit!!"

He looks at the crowd "All of you need to stand up and fight for your rights as a WARUI!!! KILL and DESTROY THE PATHETIC HUMANS WHO PUT MOST OF US HERE IN THE BEGINNING!!!"

"I might be the Spirit of Insanity but that does not take away from my knowledge........Im still one of the most intelligent Waruis to ever form and i want to lead us all to complete and sinister VICTORY!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The General snapped his fingers, and he looked appraisingly at the sitting form of him. He was furious. "Let's get STARTED, everyone. As we know, the Yoi have declared war on us, so we need to FIGHT BACK. Each of you will be delegated to part of the globe. So GET THERE. When I tell you to."

 

The Yoi General was calmer, being the spirit of calm.

"Now. WE need to protect humanity. Without humans, our world comes crashing down as we are the spirits ofnot only emotions, but of humans themselves. Without humans, we are just spirits, and soon, we will fade."

"Doesn't the Warui General listen to us?" Selene voiced.

"Yes and no. He listens, only out of mockery, and doesn't trust a word I say."

Royce smirked as he walked out of the meeting and into the hu8man world to resume his mission.

"That old fool dosent know what to do when it comes to war."

He saw the girl and smiled." Soooo....beautiful.....i think i feel......happy.....nahhhh....just gas.........oh well hehehehe" He walked towards the girl with a sinister look on his face.

Upon being summoned to the general, Edmund had sat towards the back, generally staying out of the way and listening, whilst watching the other spirits. He reckoned that most of them would be willing to go and fight. It was probably necessary, however he still felt that there would be much more sorrow in the world before this business was over.

 

The general had been discussing his Warui counterpart with a young woman.

"Of course he doesn't trust you. He considers us to be his foe, and thus cannot conceive that you may have insight or knowledge that he aught to take note of," the weeping spirit noted, "as would be expected from a spirit of such violent emotion."

Tanith left the meeting. As useual, she was fuming. "Why must that incopitent fool be our general!" She swooped down and possesed a human. 'Now, who am I this time.' She thought. She looked at his wallet. 'Clean record. Nice.' She walked into a bank and started a brawl with the people inside. She made him pick up a shard of glass and use it as a weapon. After a few hours, he had killed five people and maimed a few more before being shot. She went out of his body and into one of the swat teams. 'Now it's time for chaos.' In her mind, she was in hysterics as she shot down many of the cops as she could.

"Foolish," The Warui General shook his head. "However, if his thick head doesn't need to know our plans, so be it." he turned back to the crowd and began assessing and dividing out duties.

 

Selene stood up. She knew what she had to do. She entered the human realm and walked out of the abandoned building that was a temple int he Spirit realms.

She floated downt he streets, waiting.

Edmund stood, and discreetly left the meeting. He remained in the spirit world even as he moved along streets in the human world. Whilst he was here he couldn't see, and was less aware of, the unhappy living. He found it rather peaceful, relatively speaking, in the quieter world.

 

Shadows moved in the distance. Edmund gave a sigh, and moved back into the human world, a street very different, and yet very similar, to the one he was on before the meeting came into view. He moved towards the now clear people, who seemed to be involved in some sort of commotion.

Selene saw Edmund and recognized the Yoi spirit. She waved, happily, but saw the commotion as well. She floated towards the scene and wondered what was happening, and she took control of one of the cops.

There was a maddened swat team agent in the middle, shooting everyone. Definitely the work of a warui. She grabbed her own handgun and shot once, twice, and three times.

Royce heard screaming and gunshots. "The hell? Rampage and im not the cause of it?.........Whats going on over there?!"

He walked over to the scene and possesed an FBI agent.

"Now....the hell is all this coming from!?"

He noticed the sprit shooting and knew its energy "What is she some freaking STALKER!??? GAH!!!"

Selene continued to shoot at the Warui, then noticed a new arrival. Another spirit! She waited for it to show its allegiances; whether ot help her out and shoot others, or to shoot other officers.

She cursed as soon the body she was possessing was shot, and she took another officer's body, grabbing a machine gun from a dead SWAT crew operative and began to shoot madly.

Royce saw the blood of officers being spilled everyehwere and his eyes grew dark and sinister. "HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He picked up an M-4 from a dead officer and looked around. He smiled insanely.

"SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He opened fire killing every human insight leaving the spirits for last.

He glared at the girl spirit.

"IM TIRED OF THIS GAME OF CAT AND MOUSE!!!! Its time to DIE!!!!!!"

Selene smiled serenely and disappeared.

 

The Warui general was sitting down, thinking. What would be thebest course of action against these Yoi imbeciles?

Suddenly the spirit of a boy appeared behind him, grabbing him, and they teleported away to another place in teh spirit world.

"Unhand me, you fools!" the general spat, his fury firing up. "Why have you taken me so unceremoniously from my place?!"

Edmund watched the scene, his own sadness deepening at the sight of all the loss of life, and the inevitable sorrow of those left behind. Just to complicate matters, there seemed to be two Wauri spirits. Reaching back into the spirit world, he conjured a specialised revolver. Slightly out of phase with the human world, it would do any more damage to the police officers, but even though it couldn't kill them the spirits most likely wouldn't be able to ignore it.

Edmund raised the gun, the tears seeming to flow more than they usually did, and opened fire.

Royce heard shots fired at him and sleekly dodges the bullets.

"So....you seem to be really brave you little twit."

Royce jumped out of the human body and glared at the spirit who fired the shot.

"Who are you Yoi?"

He was tired of fighting all of these little Yoi by himself. It was boring.

Selene reappeared directly behind him, knocking him on the head with a steel, spiked hammer.

 

The boy smiled slightly. "I"m here to take over your place." And with that, the general realized that the boy was following protocol; circle of fire...

The boy drew a sword and stabbed the Warui General.

The boy, by default, became the general.

"Me?" Edmund asked. "I am the oversight of death itself, the one with the alleged fortune to have stayed alive. I am nobody, and I doubt that you care, although for convenience you may call me Edmund, in the spirit of these times, should you wish. I however, am rather interested in who you might be." He paused. "I can only presume you to be one of the Warui, but other than that I have no knowledge of your identity, or what it might be." He watched Selene's reappearance with no change to his neutral expression, deciding he didn't need to alert the other spirit to his apparent oversight.

Royce was knocked in the head but then flipped behind the girl spirit and roundhouse kicked her into a wall.

"So...Edmund, my name is Royce the spirit of Insanity..hehehehe...and it seems as if you have no feeling inside of you."

He looked at the other spirit and Edmund simultaneously so he wont get snuck up on other time.

"At least your not rude and manner less like this other Yoi that's been following me around."

Royce's hand turned into a demonic two sided axe and his other a demonic Warui shield.

"Well......Come on"

He got into a stance and smirked.

Edmund gave a short, hollow chuckle. "So you would say I lack feelings, master Royce? My feelings are deep, so deep, but to someone with such an unstable emotion I am not surprised that mine - which are as unchanging as the very earth - does not seem so obvious. Still, we have a long time together, so rather than directly inform you I think I'll let you deduce what emotional state I represent for yourself. It aught to give some manner of entertainment to the both of us, would you not agree?"

 

"Ah, but of course, you seek combat," he added, sighing, "Very well." Edmund emptied the revolver towards the Warui, before lowering his arm as the revolver changed shape, lengthening to take the form of a walking cane.

Royce used the shield to block the bullets. He laughed.

"Unstable emotion? Why my dear Watson Insanity is what keeps the FOREVER changing Earth in balance."

"You think that happiness.....joy....or even Sanity would even exist without the gore and mind boggling ordeal the world calls insanity? Think about it. Without insanity no one would know what sanity, joy, or happiness even feels like. But you do make a good argument my dear friend, but don't think your the only one capable of being sophisticated and intelligent"

Royce laughed his blood curdling laugh and waited for the next attack smiling ever so devilishly.

Selene shook her head and recovered quickly form the kick into the wall, and summoned a bw and arrow, th only weapon on her mind, and shot once and twice, then disappeared from the human world. She adjusted her course to another place then appeared, then shot more, then disappeared, and over and over again.

She smiled as the cops were confused. She liked humans but she sometimes felt it was humorous to watch their confusion over spirits.

Royce placed the shield inside his chest creating a demonic barrier around him.

"Im tired of your games little girl"

The barrier soon wore off only lasting 7 seconds. He stopped and suddenly Royces body started morphing and clones of himself crawled from his body.

they stood and laughed that same evil laugh.

"Now Yoi...come and get us"

Royce and the clones spread out each in their own unique stands.

"Can you tell which one is actually me?" They all said simultaneously.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

Selene smiled. "see, the problem with being Warui is that you're never taught to think things through properly," she let her voice echo around her, as if coming from all places. "And that is why I can so easily foil you," she continued, making a rain of arrows throurgh all of the clones' bodies. She knew that they would all dissipate on contact unless they were the real spirit.

 

She immediately disappeared after this.

"Whilst you make a fair point in that the presence of insanity makes humanity realise how vital sanity really is," Edmund replied, "you overstep your mark. One does not need to see a deranged man to understand happiness, just as one does not to see a circle to understand green. Besides, the unstable element of mankind may be what causes it to advance, but without a force that stabilises by nature, and not by being forced to, humanity will merely topple into oblivion. But I forget, that was your purpose from the start, was it not?"

 

Edmund watched as the Warui split into several clones, and began to fight the girl. Keeping perfectly still, barely even turning to see behind him, he bided his time.

The rainning arrows struck every clone and every single image of Royce was gone. Even the real one.

"You all really need to stop treating me as if im lower or not as smart as a Yoi. Thats YOUR unfortunate and might i add stupid mistake." His voice was coming from every direction and had an eerie calmness behind it.

'I love your faith in your abilities, but never judge someone by what they are."

"Edmund.....you are the most sensible Yoi if ever seen. I applaud your calm demeanor and sophisticated nature. Hahaha...........you are the most dynamic opponent ive ever faced."

"As for you Selene........you need to learn from dear Edmund...because you.......are still young and naive...and gullible"
