Spirits of Revenge [[Started//Accepting in OOC//Pg-13]]

Selene inclined her head politely. "Selene." she stiffened as she heard Royce's voice, and turned around.

"Ah, we have our insanely misled Warui with us today, D. Royce, meet D. We're on completely different sides, isn't it fun!" she flashed him a grin and hovered a bit above the tree.

"well if you'll excuse me, I'm going to head back inside the temple."

She disappeared and reappeared inside the church, back inside the police officer.

"Well, this town seems to be covered sufficiently," Edmund muttered, continuing along towards the countryside, "I suppose it would be prudent to check other locations. There may be at least two of the Warui here, but there's also more than one Yoi, so I don't think my services will be required at present." Edmund didn't mind walking, although he did seem to be going a bit faster than one would normally expect of someone on foot - in fact it was significantly faster than the few cars driving along it, which would rapidly bring him to the next town. "This is so much faster back home," he muttered, "why on earth would they make these places so far apart?"

D. watched curiously as Selene vanished back into the church. He could tell that who ever it was that she was looking/hiding from, had finally appeared, as her attitude became almost sarcastically cheerful. "Hmmm... It seems she's gonna fight someone." He looked back at the church. From within he could feel the opposing energies gathering as the yoi and the warui gathered in the same space. "If I was a standard Yoi, I probably would be helping her fight..." D. grinned again. "To bad I'm not the standard Yoi." Discreetly he entered the church and leaned against the wall, waiting to see what the two spirits would do, and if the new and... admitably interesting yoi spirit needed his help or not.

Royce sighed. 'i really don't feel like fighting her....really...."

He walked in the temple.

'Look here, im not looking for a fight. Im just here to observe you. I promise NO destruction."

He sat down and stared at Selene.

"You look sort of happy from my arrival. Just dont try to kill me."

Selene narrowed her gaze a bit. "Well if it's alright with you, I"m waiting for another spirit in here. And...I wouldn't say I'm exactly pleased, but my emotion requires me to be happy most of the time. So that's all."

She shrugged and leaned against a church bench.

 

She noticed that civilians were staring at her, because she had possessed the policeman and was sitll talking to the other spirits.

"What?!" she asked. "I'm an actor, I'm practicing a...soliloquy I have in the play 'Spirits of..urm..err...Revenge'...?"

The other civilians turned away.

She breathed a sigh of relief.

Royce chuckled a bit. "Bravo Sir McLiesAlot!"

He stood and walked over to where she was standing. He sat down. "So who exactly are3 you waiting on?" he looked at all the Holy pictures in the temple and cringed. 'Stupid humans and their religions..."

"This place is kinda depressing." "Needs more light, dont you agree?" Royce did his laugh and choked a little. He started coughing harshly. "Crap....he wont give up."

Royce hit his chest hard and the pain stopped.

'Christ...."

Selene raised her eyebrows. "not so stupid when you see what they're based on, but yes, they're largely made up." she shrugged. "I'm waiting for another one of your kind, though I do believe you said you were neither Warui or Yoi. So maybe not your kind."

She was attracting stares again. "Sorry. Just practicing." she said with a wave of her hand.

She floated out of the body so she coudl converse freely. "What about you? what brings you around here?"

"Just wondering why you weren't there when i awoke since your EVERYWHERE i am." "I thought someone clipped you and that is unacceptable. You die when I say so..."

Royce laughed a bit and stood up stretching. "Waruis and Yois...too much blankness you know? not enough gray in-between."

He floated on his back in the air.

"You seem pretty capable. Who taught you the things you know little lady?"

"Myself." she replied easily. "But General taught me some too." she cocked her head to the side. "Since when are you everywhere I am? Since when am I everywhere you are?" she asked. "Merely coincidences, or planned fate...yes, I only show up around you when you decide that its a good time to display your true colors."

She looked around, disappointedly. "But I expected the other spirit to come. Where is she? She is tracking down this body."

"True Colors? How do you know MY true colors." Royce glared at her.

"You think you know everything about me don't you?" "And if you dont want to be where i am then stop showing up there, otherwise we will continue to play cat and mouse."

He laid down in a chair looking at Selene.

"You follow every rule in the book don't you? Every single Yoi rule. Learn to be like me and live on the edge princess."

Selene raised an eyebrow. "Princess? And if you're going to get violent, we're in a temple. I don't exactly know your true colors, but when you do show them it makes you lean more towards Warui than Yoi. You've killed people, Royce. Yoi don't do that."

She shrugged. "But of course," her voice pitch changed to cool and sarcastic. "I am a mere 'Yoi Princess', as you put it. What would I know of justice? I defend people from your kind."

"Tell me though, has one person ive killed not deserved to die? Hmm?"

Royce looked in her eyes with a cold soul seeking the truth out of her.

"You really need to live free and watch peoples actions more. I haven't killed you. Merely fought, but tell me...have you ever bled because of me? You ever had any broken bones caused by me?"

Royce sat and awaited the answer from Selene's own mouth.

Selene shook her head. "I don't matter, Royce. The person that I was defending in that neighborhood when we first met. You killed the family, they didn't deserve to die.

"Why do you kill, Royce? Does it pleasure you to take the life of others?" she asked. "Does revenge for what they didn't do pleasure you?"

She sighed, sitting down on a church bench. The church seemed to be filling up, and then she realized that it was sunday, when the mortals usualy gathered in the churches. She made the policeman sit up, as if listening.

"Who told you that I killed that i killed that family." 'You didnt even know that they were dead before the fight was over."

Royce smirked at Selene.

"You think i killed them, i didnt." Royce walked over to Selene and looked her in the eyes not blinking at all.

"I dont kill for pleasure. I kill those that have done wrong to the people of the earth. Think about it it. The wrestler that i killed. He raped his sister last weekend and hid her body. So in turn i overdosed him on NyQuil."

Royce blinked once.

"I don't kill for pleasure...well it gives me a rush, but i kill for redemption. i do have a conciseness you know my dear."

Selene widened her eyes in surprised. She had no idea about the wrestler.

"O-oh...I see..." she sat down. "Still, though I somewhat agree with your motives..." she trailed off and sighed. "You shouldn't kill for revenge, you should punish the person in a different way."

She faced Royce again. "That's what the Yoi do. They punish, but do not kill. If you kill, it sort of...ends their suffering. You could punish them differently."

"Well the only way i know to punish the humans is to kill them...i never thought of any other way to seek revenge for the fallen."

Royce looked at Selene.

"Maybe you can teach me how to seek revenge.'

He looked into her eyes.

'I would not like to kill humans....just torture them into they learn theyre lesson.

He stood and walked over to her.

Help me?"

Selene shrugged.

 

Inside she was turmoil.

Help him? HELP HIM? she thought to herself. But he's going to torture people. It's not right.

When was the last time you've tortured anyone?

But he's not goingto kill anymore. The least you could do is go with him.

 

She floated up and towards him.

"Sure. Why not?" she relented.

He genuinely smiled for the first time in ages. 'Wow........Thank You Selene........."

He looked so happy. he stood and looked at the preacher.

"Maybe there is some good...or sanity...left in me after all."

He walked out of the temple and looked at the sky. "Heh..."

He wondered what the general thought about him now.

Selene followed, slightly cautious, but glided beside Royce. She closed her eyes, btu still followed. "I am looking for ill intent in the world." she informed him. "ESpecially one that's close to us..."

She pinpointed a murderer, and shuddered as his thoughts swamped over her. His disrespect for women, his racism, his bloodlust.

"Let's get him." she pointed a finger to a scrawny middle-aged man with glasses and curly hair. "He's a murderer."

"Heheheeeeeeeee" Royce immediately took the man over shivering at the rage and disgust in his heart. "This bastard is crazy..."

He looked at Selene through the mans own eyes. "So now...what to do?"

He sat the man down on a bench as he thought of a plan to put the body in terrible pain.

"Any ideas?"

"I wasn't thinking of bodily pain. I wasthinking of mental pain, you know." Selene inclined her head towards the man. "First instill a bit of remorse, then let guilt tear him apart. THAT is naturality."

 

She stepped forward to freeze the man where he was on the sidewalk.

"Your call."

Justice who was sitting on top of the church couldn't help but over hear Selene and Royce

he watched Royce carefully as he took over the man and thought of how he would punish the man's injustice

Justice could feel the horride thoughts of the man they discusted him

Justice thought to himself "I wont interfear not unless this spirit has malice intent."

Justice tried to stay out of sight from the two, but he was not very stealthy so it was likely they would see him sooner or later

"Hmmmmm...."

Royce made the man feel like a load of crap about the people he has killed. Then he put the man into sepression making the man kill himself.

The man was going crazy on the sidewalk acting like he had no sense.

"This is hilarious princess...hehe"

The man was yelling and screaming and going crazy.

"This good?"

Justice stood up and floated to Royce's side

"NO!!!! This is injust, she said make him feel guilt make him want to repent of his sins not make him insane and suicidal.

Justice said as he floated beside Royce

"Fix your mess child."

Justice demanded loudly

Selene shook her head as well. "no, you can't make him want to kill himself. A little remorse goes a long way, and all I wanted to do was make him feel respect for the ones he killed. I knwo that that is not in your nature, but that is just punishment instead of death." she intoned.

She turned to Justice. "You, Justice, may be a fellow Yoi, but you do not know what we are trying to accomplish here." she raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing here anyways? the general didn't assign you here too, did he?"
