The 2 most epic moments of 5D's...

Shooting Stardust is impossible to Summon

Rekindling = Firedog + Magician + Poun + Guard = Stardust + Formula Synchron = Shooting Star Dragon

Big Fish dude that special summons monsters + discard = 7 Colored Fish + Royal Swam Eel + Fishborg Blaster + Deepsea Macrotrema (or other LV1 Fish if there is one) = Stardust + Formula Synchron = Shooting Star Dragon

Not more epic, but as epic as those scenes.

No, those 2 scenes were just stupid, especially the Shooting Stardust one.

On 2nd thought, anything after episode 64 was just horrible.

Flamvells were practically MADE for Stardust Dragon

Stardust

Firedog (4) + Magician (4T)

Majestic

(Rekindling)

[Firedog (4) + Magician (4T)] + [Poun (1) + Majestic Dragon (1)]

Shooting Star

(Rekindling)

[Firedog (4) + Magician (4T)] + [Poun (1) + Flamvell Baby (1T)]

Easy as 3.14159265358979323846264.....

The part where Placido fuses itself with his motorcycle just to show his true power in a card game is much more epic than those 2 scenes.

OT: Shooting Stardust is impossible to Summon and Nova Dragon is... alright. Just alright.

Your Mileage May Vary, I'm afraid. The transformation sequence looked weird as hell (the legs and feet...WTF?!). Post-transformation appearance was awesome, though. Then again, I think Placido is awesome.

I like post-episode 64. It's a little less dark in places, but just as good.

Majestics are fun, but these are better for the most part. Red Nova is easier to summon than Majestic Red, can get pretty powerful, but not AS powerful. The main point against the Majestics is the useless tuner that is Majestic Dragon. A 0/0 with no effect aside from being limited to Majestic Synchros. And the requirement of PRECISELY one non-tuner for the Majestic Synchros also hurts to some degree.

Shooting Star is worth the effort to summon, since if you use one star tuners, like Avenger or Flamvell Baby, it's easy to form a Synchro with a token. Costless effect negation once per turn is pretty nice. The multiple attacks is weird, though, but definitely interesting.

I dunno, I never considered Scar-Red to be that epic. The duel kind of was, but the monster itself...you never got to see the cool stuff it could do aside from the ATK gain. At least Shooting Star got to show its effects off. It's an interesting card, what with immunity to destruction and having plenty of ATK to beat face. Majestic Red gets the benefit of effect negation and dealing an almost certain 4000 damage in addition to nuking opposing monsters when it attacks, plus is ALSO immune to destruction.

Idiot.

Majestics aren't worth playing at all.

These are slightly worth it, but the first one is impossible.

Seriously. So..... Shooting Star Dragon.....

Only Synchro Tuner monster is a LV 2.... 2 Monsters to summon, 1 is a lv 1 tuner, so lets say thats 2 cards. Then theres Actualy having Formula, so 3 cards, then 2 cards for stardust, so 5 cards, Then Having Stardust > 6 Cards, then HAVING Shooting Star Dragon, 7 Cards.

Majestic Star Dragon..................

Majestic Dragon > 1 card. Non Tuner > 2 Cards. > 2 cards for Stardust > 4 Cards > Stardust > 5 Cards! > Majestic > 6 Cards!, a Card Short and a Better Effect.

Oh. There About the Same.

Messed up logic. Cards in the Extra Deck shouldn't count at all.

Shooting Star needs 4 cards, all of which can be summoned by Rekindling or Coelcanth - so 1 card, plus Formula Synchron lets you draw a card, so you break even before even summoning it.

Majestic Star needs 4 cards as well, but one of them is fail. While things like Rekindling help decrease the amount needed, you still have to summon Majestic Dragon separately. That's 2 cards with nothing to cause it to break even, and it goes away at the end of the turn.

Shooting Star >>>>>>>>>> Majestic Star

Yes, but Majestic Star looks BETTER, uses less cards (Coelcanth, LV 7, 2 Monsters + Coel, so 3.) and is more fun and epic when your opponent is cheating and stabbing you with a piece of sharp metal from the scrapyard. Im talking about the Anime, Where Coelcanth doesnt even exist!

I already did the math in the post you quoted. They're even in required monsters, but Shooting Star is better.

Art doesn't matter.

If you think Coelcanth doesn't exist in the anime, think again. It can be inferred that all cards from real life exist in the anime (from Dragon Capture Jar to Trishula). Furthermore, WC09 - which is based off of the anime universe - has a CPU use it against you, and has a character that IS Seaking.
