The ultimate Equip card [Mage Power]

Personally, my most used card is this:

I have at least 1 in all my decks, but some decks have 2 or 3.

On its own, only 500 ATK and DEF, but have 3 on the field at the same time, equiped to the same thing, with 2 more spell or traps you control, WITH one of your Field spells. whoa. 9000 ATK and DEF each. it Goes well with Gandora. and Earthbound Immortals and all other Direct Attackers.Lol, i just thought of an OTK.

Its a good card (especially back in the day, I remember the times when my opponent would use this card, I would flee the room screaming with my arms flailing behind me, unless I had magic cylinder that is) but in the modern era of YGO the game and changed and all out attack is no where near as effective as it used to be, the game has become much more tactical now.

 

Still I love that card.

UnitedWeStandRP02-EN-UR-UE.pngThat would like to have a word with you. 3 monsters with United gives you almost the same boost that 5 spells/traps with Mage.

 

lolEquips. Good when lolATK actually really mattered though.

 

United we Stand and Mage Power has to be overly OPed. It helped me win so much duels.

 

Both are banworthy too.

tl;dr (because my post was unbelievably long): Equips are only good when they give you the monster that you equip them to.

turn 7 iirc.

 

my opening hand was Golem, Scapegoat, Mage Power, Trade-In, Dragon, and drew United.

 

Trade-In got me a Power Bond and a Gear Soldier.

 

Stalled unil I had Engineer, 3x Mage Power, 2 United, and Golem in hand, Summoned UAGG, then next turn drew into Limiter Removal.

 

4400x2x2+2500+4000=24100 iirc, and my pal had a face-down AF-the Fool...Overkills should do somthing in yugioh (like your opponent loses 1000 LP in the next round for every aditional 8000 you do)

They will always be -1's, does that make them terrible? no.

 

I'm waiting for somebody to say, well we need something like this because nobody would bother to use ATK/DEF boosters:

 

[spoiler=lol equip]The equipped monster gains 500 ATK and DEF for each card you control and can attack directly.

 

 

Which technically would still be a -1, you get what I'm saying?
