What was YCM like 2 Years ago?

[b]How the hell should I know? I was new to the internet, and actually was active in Custom Cards. It was different, and that's all I can legitimately say without assumptions or lies.[/b]

What did other members think of you when you first joined?

[b]I was the generic newbie-cardmaker. I wasn't anything special, to say the least. I had my time in CC, and even Graphic Design (Shops), but again, I was just that newbie who actually stayed.[/b]

Whats made you stay on YCM for 2 years?

[b]Good question, actually. I have no idea. The site itself is addicting enough, and the fact that I've made "internet friends" here worsens the situation. Why did I stay? Frankly, I have fun on this website. And that's really all the internet should be about.[/b]

Who introduced you to the site?

[b]Don't shoot me. I used to play MapleStory. And I used to go on BasilMarket (MapleStory's version of eBay). There was a thread posted with a link to this forum, so I clicked it, and joined to make some cards.[/b]

Where did you get the idea for your name?

[b]My original name was DarkDragonX, and I don't really know why I chose that name. The second I got my first name change, however (which was for Diamond in the Rough, which I came in first place in, thank you), I changed it to [Dark]. Then I got smart and changed it to plain old Dark. Then, I changed it to Dark, where the a was an exponent on the D, and the K was capital lowercase. And then I changed it back to Dark, to avoid the symbol fad.

On every forum I have a name having to do with the word "Dark", whether it be in Japanese (Kurai), Latin (Atrum), or just English. I don't know why I like that word/name so much, but it is simple and definitely shows my "dark" personality.[/b]

Do you consider yourself respected on YCM?

[b]Err... depends. Am I popular, sure. Why not? But I wouldn't say I'm respected. Granted, I'm an ass to pretty much everyone minus a few exclusive people, so I see no reason why I should get respect from anyone.[/b]

How much time do you spend on YCM every day/week?

[b]During the summer, I spend around two to three hours lurking and posting on YCM. During school, maybe one to two hours. I spend enough time to know what's going on, basically. Although recently, my activity has been decreasing. Blame General and the lack of good threads.[/b]

When was the last time you did anything involving the TCG?

[b]...oh wow. In terms of CC (which is still kind of part of the TCG), that'd be my 10000-post celebration awhile back. In terms of the actual TCG forum... yeah, I have no damn idea.[/b]

If you could meet 5 members of YCM in real life who would you pick and why?

[b]I actually would only want to meet two; Crab Helmet and HORUS.

If I was required to meet three more, however... Clair, Eury (Nox Arcana, or whatever the hell his name is), aaaaand... Saint Dane.[/b]

What would you say was your most successful topic in General?

[b]While I have taken part in a lot of really good General hits, I can't say I've posted anything all too amazing.

But, without a doubt, http://forum.yugiohc...__fromsearch__1 was my most favorite thread that I posted in General.

Overall, I think The Video Game Music Station has been my most impactful thread on this forum, but that's in Music, not General.[/b]

Do you think the General Forum has lost it's touch?

Besides General, which section do you find yourself most active in?

[b]I'm assuming that General includes all of its subsections (Polls, Debates, C&O). I'm very active in Video Games, and somewhat active in Music due to the previously stated thread I have there.[/b]

The mods of the General Forum, who does their job best?

[b]The forum was a mess before. MarbleZone has made the forum actually decent. Although, it still lacks decent activity. However, MarbleZone is easily the best mod of General, and most likely the best mod we've ever had for that section.[/b]

If you became a mod of the General Forum, what would be your main priority?

[b]Creating a thread clearly stating all of the rules and the appropriate warn% amounts. I, personally, don't like how unclear the current General "rules" are, and I'd love to revise them so people know what is and is not against the rules.[/b]

Have you done anything in YCM to improve the site and if so, what?

[b]No, nor do I want to, honestly.[/b]

What would you be doing if you where not a member of YCM?

[b]I can tell you one thing. I still would not have a social life. Those things are overrated. I'd probably dedicate even more time to playing video games, or maybe get into making my own website (not a bad YCM-knock-off forum; an actual website).[/b]

[b]I'm half-and-half on that. On one hand, I love how some of the glitches from MyBB were fixed. On the other hand, new glitches were instituted, and it seems like YCM is the new (but obviously less active) Facebook. I don't hate the switch, nor do I want to go back to MyBB, but I can't say I love it.[/b]

[b]Well, I like Sailor Saturn from Sailor Moon. I also play as a Paladin in D&D. I took those two elements and went with alternating lowercase and uppercase letters - and you get SaTuRnPaLaDiN. Whether or not I will change my name is up in the air.[/b]

[b]I have too many - and I don't wanna try and make a list for fear of leaving somebody out. They know who they are, though.[/b]

What was YCM like 2 Years ago?

[b]I recall having an account back then, an email that got hacked, and that account was an ultimate failure. Due to forgetting everything, including my username, I was driven to make this one. I'd have to say it was a pretty chilled out place, though. Despite me having awful cards that were, broke, to say the least, people were cool about it.[/b]

What did other members think of you when you first joined?

[b]On my ex account, I was just any other noob. Bad cards, bad idea, no creativity. This account, though, I had some card making experience. I made decent cards right outta the start and took the advice of others rather than shooting it down and saying "NO NO NO! MY CARDS ARE THE BEST!" I think that that was my greatest strength to get people here to like me. I was willing to listen and take as much advice as needed.[/b]

Whats made you stay on YCM for 2 years?

[b]This account was made nearly 2 years after the old one. I haven't really been here for 2 years. I've been here... 2 months actually. But, I'd like to think I made a lot of progress in that time.[/b]

Who introduced you to the site?

[b]As a child, and to this day, I was OBSESSED with Yu-Gi-Oh! One day, I decided, "It's be really cool if I could make my own cards." So I googled "custom Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and tada! YCM![/b]

Where did you get the idea for your name?

[b]When I first joined, my name was Agonius. That was somewhat of a metaphor of everything I want, feel, and want to be. Not necessarily Agony, but, pain. Then, I switched over to "The_Deifeind." That was basically a set that I made and decided it'd be cool to have as a name. It means "Fiend God." And now, my username is simply Greek for fiend.[/b]

Who would you say is your best friend here?

[b]It's a tough choice, but I'd have to say Zextra. He joined my first contest, rated my cards, gave me great advice, and was overall a great member.[/b]

How much time do you spend on YCM every day/week?

[b]I go on daily except when I'm unable to. I'd say at least an hour a day, but sometimes more when I'm making cards.[/b]

When was the last time you did anything involving the TCG?

[b]I try to help them with any mistakes they make, any flaws they have. Should they argue with me over something they obviously don't know about, I tend to get a little mad.[/b]

What was YCM like 2 Years ago?

[b]In 2008? Obviously, the forum was different, and the member base was much different. It was slightly more caring. God GAK, God Kaze, Hunter. People where generally nice to each other. However, there seemed to be more trolls back then, compared to today.[/b]

[b]Back in 07, I was really just a typical member. Triple posting, ect. I didn't even know how to post an IMG code. However, 07 was such a great time. Every knew each other, as it was still a relatively small forum. I was shown the way by members such as Rock_Leet, and Star. I guess the answer to yuor question is that they saw me as a typical member, who maybe had some card making ability. I wasn't good at first, lol[/b]

[b]Almost 3 years, actually. I was bored I guess. I enjoyed the feeling I got from people liking what I made. Then I just made goals, such as 5000 posts, become a mod, ect. I had some irl issues, and this site was a great help. The members all helped. Now that I'm super, I'm here to really help the site that helped me.[/b]

[b]Yes, yes I do. Most recent was my reaper card. I'm actually working on another set now.[/b]

If you are interviewing some CC-dude, ask him questions about CC and not so many about Graphic Design, or something. Reading the same twenty questions for everyone is boring for the readers, and boring for those being interviewed.
