CrabHelmet
Anime and manga cards do not generate any useful discussion - not even in the form of providing a glimpse of what the actual card game will eventually obtain, since the real versions of cards are usually so drastically altered from their fictional counterparts. If we must allow them - and allowing them seems like the popular choice - then at least only permit discussion of well-balanced cards and such. Every time an anime character pulls out a new card whose effect is something along the lines of "Activate only when you control an [Archetype] monster to send all cards in your opponent's hand and field to the Graveyard", we don't need a new topic to pop up talking about how broken it is and how drastically it will warp the game (only for the real version to read "Activate only while you control at least three [Archetype] monsters. Your opponent discards 1 Spell Card" or something similar).
Luis2
The B.E.S archetype is not eve broken yet and this card is still not made. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Shield_Recovery Why not make them get their counters when they are special summoned with Boss Rush? TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
At worst, they do not deserve a spot in the TCG forum. However, Anime/Manga card discussion/fandom might deserve its own forum section to separate it, perhaps below the strategy section or something? Anyways, if not that, then simply no discussion of anime/manga cards, except when discussing their remake TCG/OCG equivalent.

Phantom Roxas
Since it gives us a wider variety of cards to talk about and we can discuss how a card would affect the game if at all if it was ever released, I say go for it. Catterjune
There will probably also be new rules if I ever get around to writing them (swamped with coursework TBQH) so don't get too comfortable with the thought of discussing Spellbook Inside the Pot or Disgraceful Charity + Card Destruction. Mehmani
I say that as long as the card is either credible support for an existing archetype, could impact the metagame if it was released or looks like it will be released in the TCG/OCG soon then it's fine to discuss it. I also think that it's fair to discuss unreleased archetypes though because they could affect the metagame in a way that would be interesting to discuss.
