Video Games allow the user to experience things they may not be able to experience in Real Life. From Driving a Car to becoming a Metal Clad overlord of a Dominion. Video Games are the perfect media to enj these thrills. Also Video Games give a HUGE boost to Hand Eye co-ordinattion and a minor increase to all basic SKills. Did you know that I learnt some of the Japanese Language from playing Video Games? I can SPeak and listen to mostly all Japanese phrases now.

Football just has more fans, and is considered "the American sport". Well, along with baseball. Regardless, a large fanbase will obviously have fanatics that love to scream at the TV when there is a pass interference flag. I hate those. D:

What? No, I think you mean Soccer/Rest of the world football games. I've never seen anyone get excited over a football game (or, for that matter, seen a place that plays football in public) whereas I very often see restaurants and bars playing the latest soccer match and half the drunken bastards cheering or yelling at the screen.


I'll never understand the obsession over terrible animes like Naruto. I gave it as much of a chance as I could when watching it, but just couldn't keep going after the first arc where... something about a bridge or something? The pacing was so awfully boring and dull. I never felt so annoyed at watching a fight scene in all my life.

And don't say "lawl, the manga's better", because I can't imagine a still picture having more action then a moving picture, and don't say "lawl, should have stuck around for the Chunin Exams" because the series had enough time to impress me (stuck around for 19 episodes) and completely failed in that regard. Not to mention I watched (at a friend's insistent) the fight between Rock Lee versus Gaara (which he claimed was "ZOMG! SO AWESOME!") and stood thoroughly unimpressed as it was about 5 minutes of action and 15 minutes of exposition and explaining what just happened. "Oh! He just unlocked his 4th Chakra or something! Oh! The sand guy used the sand in his like, fruit or something to make a copy of himself and that Rock Lee guy just destroyed the sand copy. Lawl!"

Gimmie a god damn break.



Second thing that bugs me is Kingdom Hearts. I mean, the first one was kind of alright, or as good a game I could imagine given the premise of "Disney meets Final Fantasy. Literally." It was a simplistic-like plot, that soft ass Sora got his world destroyed and now he, along with two other fruits are off to find their friends. Also, the two fruits are looking for Mickey. Eventually, they get caught up in something bigger then themselves, the Disney villains plan to kidnap princess to open up Kingdom Hearts which will give them untold powers and it's kind of up to Sora to stop them, especially since his buddy Kairi is also on the chopping block as 'princess du jour'.

Then, everything after Hollow Bastion was just a huge pile of WTF. Apparently, Kairi's heart was in Sora's (which was never explained well) and by stabbing himself with Riku's sword Sora/Kairi's heart was released (also not explained) and because of this Sora became a heartless (ehh... I'll let it slide) but also got a nobody named Roxas (never fully explained) along with Kairi's nobody, Namine (I'm pretty sure she's her Nobody). For no well explained reason, Namine can screw with Sora's memories which leads us to the next game.

Sora meets Organization 13, and they all talk in mysterious and cryptic vague ways, never revealing their motives and etc etc. I guess it's fine for them since they don't wanna give Sora too much info, but just downright stupid when they get cut scenes alone. Anyway, as revealed in 358/2 Days, the Organization needs a keyblade wielder to kill all the heartless and something vague about Kingdom Hearts. Even though Kingdom Hearts was already shown to exist somewhere else, and was shown to have been locked by both Sora and Mickey. Rather then asking Sora for help (and they do eventually ask Roxas to help them out in their pursuit of more hearts) the Organization just decides to screw with him, making him run around Castle Oblivion and they just keep stabbing themselves against his keyblade.

Also, for no well explained reason he has to fight with cards in this game. I guess, storyline and gameplay segregation but the system always felt really, really stupid to me. But back to my rambling. He find Namine and she tells him he has to fix his memories for some never explained reason. She goes to do that and is apparently terrible at her job because she takes an entire year to do it, and even then can't fix it. Meanwhile, Roxas meets Xion, who's existence is never fully explained either, and then for some reason he absorbs her and now he wields two keyblades. Then he gets curbstomped by Riku and but into a simulation of Twilight Town for no reason and pretty much nothing he believes is true or something, never explained his memories or how the program works or whatever...

And with that we begin the second game. Roxas wastes about 3 hours whining and complaining as we play the tutorial before we get to the main game. He reunites with Sora and then Sora wakes up. For some reason, no one in Org 13 ever figures out Sora's been here this whole time, despite no where else he could really run to. All they'd need to do is kill Sora. Sure, they'd have a confused, worried Roxas but really, that doesn't matter as long as he keeps killing heartless, which he does anyway.

Sora goes on an adventure for some reason, and it's around here that the game's plot completely falls apart. He's compelled to stop the Organization, but it's never truly explained why he does. He has no memories of their exploits in Castle Oblivion. I think they vaguely gave a whole "lawl, still looking for Riku and Kairi" subplot but there's honestly no reason for him to go from place to place. He has no clue who these people are, other then that they have control over nobodies. Which makes me wonder why the Organization ever jumped into battle with this guy in the first place. They have literally nothing to gain from it, in fact if they won they'd lose the only still active Keyblader out fighting the good fight and gathering hearts for Kingdom Hearts.

So... x-amount of Worlds Later, we're at The World that Never Was. Riku shows up, but he looks like some ugly guy named Ansem. Also, Ansem was never Ansem, for no reason. Ansem is Ansem. Old Ansem is Xeanhort or something like that. Kairi gets a keyblade but never uses it. Sora fights like, 4 or 5 organization members in a row because the development team took some of the Wonderland shrooms and forgot how to properly pace a story. They fight Xemnas and defeat the organization, then end up on some beach. But then they decide "lol, j/k" and end up on Destiny Islands instead with Kairi, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy.

What started out as a simple enough tale of some lost kid finding his friends and growing up quickly became a stupid convoluted mess. "Oh, but birth by sleep answers everything!" No. I don't wanna buy the Super Special Awesome Platinum International Worldwide Edition Stairway to the Destined Duel Version of every single game and get 100 percent on the dog licking challenge and get all 43 Ansem Reports and see the Super Secret ending just for it ALL to make sense in the end. Even if it was the best story in the world, just about nothing could save it from the abysmal way it was presented.

And damn fans of the series can't get enough of this nonsensical convoluted mess. Anyway, if you don't want Kingdom Hearts 1 or 2 spoiled for you, don't read the last eight paragraphs.
