I saw the opening and the Emperor silhouette and I can't help but feel that makes it anti-climactic that they've been putting so much focus on the 3 Machine Emperors if there's another owned by a character we dont know yet. I got the initial impression the fourth Emperor was just the "ultimate" Emperor, made by combining the best Wisel, Skiel, and Grannel parts with one of the Emperor's body. In any case, the Machine Emperors are awesome, with Grannel being the best to the point of broken. Not much to say that hasn't been said in previous threads. On a side note, I haven't seen a user with a Machine Emperor Wisel Infinity "duel spirit". And on that note, your spirit should be Machine Emperor Grannel [b]Infinity[/b], but whatever. Still can't say much on it until it appears, but what kind of things would it need to do to reign over the other three? Steal more than one Synchro a turn? Absorb a Synchro from the graveyard/RFG? They defeat Zone (who uses the 4th emperor) and we have another generic "happy end" where sherry comes back, and everyone lives happily ever after until the next season where they find some new random enemy and we start all over again. evilfusion Posted October 8, 2010 Report Share Posted October 8, 2010 With no idea how the Machine Emperor is summoned or what it does, it's difficult to make any conclusions regarding the fourth. I did notice it has 3 cores, which makes me wonder whether it has some sort of effect to neutralize Accel Synchros or absorb multiple times a turn, which would make some sort of bizarre sense considering Accel Synchros need two Synchros to summon. The opening also shows Scar Red and Shooting Star fighting this Emperor and failing to do a thing, but that could just be a dramatization and not an indication of "Anti-Accel Synchro" effects. Yusei vs Placido did involve Placido insisting that the potential of the Machine Emperor is unlimited, and Yusei wondering if, by combining several different Emperors, whether there was an infinite combination. Jose only recently got Grannel and we dont know much about it, so we've never seen them try to combine Skiel, Wisel, and Grannel pieces at once. It seems like a waste to not bother using more "mix and match" combos. So if it's an entirely new Machine Emperor and in no way a combination of the other three, it seems like a waste to establish so much about the Machine Emperor parts, but not use them in the potential implied by Wisel working with Skiel parts.
