If the monster this card is equipped to would be destroyed, you can destroy this card instead.
Seems pretty hilarious. DeathSDelano
So basically you can send this to the Grave to Synchro Summon a Monster. Than pay 500 life pionts to equipped to synchro to that makes your opponent have to use 2 cards to destroy synchro (unless they use S/T Removal of course)

Zkaiser
Misses the timing quite a bit, does it not? Edit: Sorry, my internet is slow.
-Griffin
Yes @Zk, doesn't work for Synchros. Isn't this a Tuner? EDIT: Yes, Machine/Tuner.
.Nu-13
Card is epic. And for everyone who think that it misses the timing - it states "if". "If" is a condition. "Can" is a timing. For those who like to read, further explanation:
In an effect, "If" represents a "Condition" for Activation. "When" represent a "Timing" for activation. Effects can be made up of the following format: "Activation Condition", "Timing", "Resolution Condition", "Effect". The following made up effect contains all four parts: "If this card was Normal Summoned this turn, during the End Phase of the turn, If you have no cards in your hand, destroy all monsters your opponent controls." 1) Condition for Activation: If it was Normal Summoned this turn. 2) Timing for Activation: During the End Phase of this turn. 3) Condition for Resolution: If you have no cards in your hand 4) Effect: Destroy all monsters your opponent controls. In order to activate the desired effect at the "Timing For Activation", the "Condition for Activation" must be true by that point in time. In order to resolve successfully, the "Condition for Resolution" must be correct at resolution. If this card were to activate but another card were chained that "added a card to my hand" where the "Condition for Resolution" were no longer true, the effect would fail. Now Moon Dragon Quilla is somewhat unique in Yugioh as it is the only Trigger Effect so far (that I can think of) that does not have a timing parameter. Moon Dragon Quilla States: "If this card on the field is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Sun Dragon Inti" from your Graveyard.": 1) Condition for Activation: If this card on the field is destroyed. 2) Timing for Activation: None 3) Condition for Resolution: None 4) Effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Sun Dragon Inti" from your Graveyard. Moon Dragon Quilla has an "Activation Condition" and an "Effect", but there is no "Timing" nor "Effect Condition" parameter. Without a "Timing" defined by the card text, the effect will activate during the next possible opportunity. This means that it CANNOT miss the timing. Hopefully that explains it
-Griffin
Oh? Alright, +1 interesting point to this thing. Although I'd be cautious since whoever made the translation, probably a fan, might not know the difference, unless this is official wording? .Nu-13
It's official effect. Same case in in the one of new SixSams: "If this card is Tributed, you can add 1 "Six Samurai" monster from your Graveyard to your hand" (or something like this) If monsters with "if" also missed the timing, that guy would be useless
-Griffin
Alright. Hard to know when these things are official.
