So basically you can send this to the Grave to Synchro Summon a Monster. Than pay 500 life pionts to equipped to synchro to that makes your opponent have to use 2 cards to destroy synchro (unless they use S/T Removal of course)

Card is epic. And for everyone who think that it misses the timing - it states "if". "If" is a condition. "Can" is a timing. For those who like to read, further explanation:

Now Moon Dragon Quilla is somewhat unique in Yugioh as it is the only Trigger Effect so far (that I can think of) that does not have a timing parameter.

Moon Dragon Quilla States: "If this card on the field is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Sun Dragon Inti" from your Graveyard.":

1) Condition for Activation: If this card on the field is destroyed.
2) Timing for Activation: None
3) Condition for Resolution: None
4) Effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Sun Dragon Inti" from your Graveyard.

Moon Dragon Quilla has an "Activation Condition" and an "Effect", but there is no "Timing" nor "Effect Condition" parameter. Without a "Timing" defined by the card text, the effect will activate during the next possible opportunity. This means that it CANNOT miss the timing.

Oh? Alright, +1 interesting point to this thing. Although I'd be cautious since whoever made the translation, probably a fan, might not know the difference, unless this is official wording?

It's official effect. Same case in in the one of new SixSams:

"If this card is Tributed, you can add 1 "Six Samurai" monster from your Graveyard to your hand"
(or something like this)

If monsters with "if" also missed the timing, that guy would be useless
