No effect and only 4000 ATK, compared to the others, its a little low.

If they took away the last line or made him deal 4000 burn damage, that effect would have been perfect. That, and make him have the text: This card can be Normal Summoned in addition your your regular Normal Summon or Set.

I love using this card because it actually is a pain to get around.

Dandylion and Obelisk are bros.

Also, I want to be able to punch through Mirror Force with this card. Give him Trap immunity. Also, give him his Terra Firma effect that they used once. ALSO, give him the effect that if he tributes Slifer and Ra his ATK become infinity.

Seriously Konami, the people want show accurate broken to hell god cards.

Obelisk is actually pretty close to its anime incarnation, aside from the absurd Infinite ATK effect and the 4000 burn. Hardened Armed Dragon makes this card lulzy.

It was so much fun to play with the legal Obelisk, just by looking at your opponent not able to stop it's summon, your opponent taking an absurd amount of damage and looking at your opponent struggling just to get rid of this thing, unless they lucksack like a mad man and draw into Smashing/Fissure or were able to make Catastor.

Then they banned Subtitoad (thank god).
And then it became illegal in Europe.

ITT: A warship that starts with an instant 4000 ATK that can't be killed by Murmillo, Ryko, Bottomless, Solemn Judgment, Solemn Warning, Icarus Attack, Complusory and other things I probarly missed AND being Special Summon-able from the grave is considered terrible, but a crappy Skill Drain with tiny 1900 ATK legs that depends on the opponent for extra ATK gain and dies by the likes of Book of Moon and cannot be Special Summoned from the grave is considered good.

I think you guys keep forgetting that Plasma cannot be Special Summoned except by its effect. This can be Special Summoned, and then nuke the opponent's field. Barbaros can't do that for 2 Tributes (and definitely not when it's Special Summoned).

Plasma is D Draw fodder and can use Goat tokens. It's terrible now, of course, but if D Draw comes back so could Plasma.

Plasma is also a level 8 DARK. So he also works with Trade-In and Allure
Plus, Plasma has his own 1800 ATK RotA, which is also RotA/E-Call-able

It's not good. Getting 3x tributes out can be a very strenuous task outside of Frognarch decks. The payoff is a 4k beater with a somewhat protection?

It's only real potential can be seen with Hardened Armed Dragon which has already been said. I just find this way to slow.
