Ярополк Пономарёв
Yes, I understand that I should only have 1 card per thread but this one deserves 2. These cards put me out of business:
Kyakan
I don't really get these, is the whole point just that they're easier to summon than the regular BEWD and Stardust for the same attack/defense? They don't even get any special effects of their own o.o
Brandon Michael Geren
Malefic Stardust... That's about it
Merci
Malefic Stardust has always been way too OP'd. And with Malefic Rainbow on the way.....the whole game'll be screwed.
burnpsy
I like the art on both, but only Malefic Stardust is worth it.
evilfusion
Are you guy[s]s[/s] nuts? "Sin Stardust is OPed"? What? Look, I love the Sin monsters, but they're horrible. The deck does have a strong Trade-In engine, but Sin Stardust isn't even close to broken. Sure, it requires 0 investment aside from a Field Spell/Skill Drain, but it's a Nomi with a near-useless effect and half a dozen negative qualities. Like the Earthbound Immortals, only one Sin monster can exist on the field at once, and if there is no Field Spell, they instantly die. They're also the only monsters that can attack, and while they require very little hand or field investment to summon, their downsides are too great without Skill Drain being in play, which would remove their Field Spell reliance and not stop other attackers. Sin Blue-Eyes forces you to run regular Blue-Eyes, and to summon Sin, you must have a Blue-eyes in the deck, so if you drew your copies or searched them with White Stone, Sin Blue Eyes is useless. Fortunately, you can use RFG Revival effects to recover the RFG Blue-Eyes. You cannot do this with Sin Stardust's cost because Stardust wasn't properly Synchroed. Fortunately, only Sin Stardust is a Nomi, whereas Sin Blue-Eyes and Sin Red-Eyes are semi-Nomi. Truth Dragon is a Nomi that makes the deck damn powerful once we get more Sins. Maybe, if Sin Rainbow Dragon is released, the Sin deck can get some much needed support, or the pack will give us more Sin support that can make them...less bad. Right now, they're just a fun deck in dire need for support to make up for their horrible drawbacks. At least Earthbound Immortals could attack directly and had their own decent effects. Toffee.
I noticed this: Stardust cannot be Special Summoned, while Blue-Eyes can only be Special Summoned. ........ But Stardust can stay on the field a lot easier :/

Sin Stardust protects your field spell, but that's really the only credit to its name. Blue-Eyes is 500 ATK stronger, but requires you to run regular Blue-Eyes as well, rather than just a Stardust in your Extra deck.

evilfusion
I know, but until I see its effect, if any, I'm not making any solid claims about Malefics' future.

Ярополк Пономарёв
trust Me, Malefics are great! evilfusion
Right, that's the shtick of Sin monsters. You still need a field spell or it dies, it stops all your other monsters from attacking, and they don't have real effects of their own.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I'm guessing it would be possible to chain your Virus to the Summon of your Malefic, thus making its destruction effect pointless (since you're Tributing it anyways).
