Nitrostorm has such a bad matchup against DARKcal. It doesn't like Wolf, Valk or DDS because they make recruiters pretty meh and DARKcal variants could easily get away with running 3 of each. Not to mention DARKcal can draw enough to side Buryings just to rub it in.

Nitrostorm sides into beatsticks which decal hates.

DARKCal runs Frontline and DD Rescue, so it's pretty much assured to trash 2 beatsticks. With Wight, it can also splash Summoned Skull or Frostasaurus, or Tuners for Synchs, which blow away those beatsticks. Considering they can easily put down 2200 monsters in Doomcals, it makes only Mechan a good side, and those die too easily to anything over level 4.

Not to mention DARKCal running Incessant makes beat-siding pointless.
