It's a weaker Montage Dragon that has more restricted summon conditions that just happens to be a part of an archtype.

But honestly, I'd run this over Force as Fortress fooder, because in extreme cases you can actually summon this.

So I've read a couple of preliminary rulings from various sites that say he should work like Fortress and count towards his own cost, summoning him at 800 but remaining an 8 star. This makes him a bit more interesting since he can be used as tribute fodder of some sort, Trade-In food, Advance Draw food, etc.

It also makes me sad we'll never get Metamorphosis back since this guy would let Cyber Twin rampage easier than ever

All in all, he seems rather versatile enough there really is no reason to run Force anymore since even at the worst, Cannon can be a 2200 wall.

It may very well be wrong, I'm just sharing what I've come across as a possibility...it is kinda awkward if it works that way since in retrospect, it really doesn't make any sense. I've seen about 3 or 4 other sites say similar though.

More than likely a lot of people are messing up trying to find uses for this

I tried comparing him to Montage Dragon but Montage Dragon specifically states OTHER monsters...and I'm no ruling expert so I have no idea really at this point if that
works or not. Though the fact that he doesn't say other
does intrigue me.

Edit: Almost sure that doesn't work now since he only gains the summoning and attack boost if the discarded cards hit the graveyard from later translations...though I am kinda wondering what happens if he discards himself since there's nothing stopping him from doing it.
