rly stupid... possibly the most Underpowered Blackwing or card for that matter in a while. the first part is amazing so i can see why a negative effect should be in place but not this much of a disadvantage. The OCG/TCG version if we get it should be something like this.

It's jank against Debu-Hime and frognarchs. but that's it tbh. Great card.

Not to mention the immunity to summon negation seems to exist purely to override Ecole de Zone. Go figure.

That's why I said it's an extreme plot device. Also, the opponent-synchro part was added for sole purpose of aki being able to nuke with BRD

It's like they didn't even try to be subtle. "Hey, let's give Crow a BF that perfectly counters all of Ecole de Zone's effects! And make it a Tuner that can be used by a different character at will, and make that Synchro immune to Ecole de Zone. That way Black Rose Dragon gets to save the day by metaphorically screwing them over! That totally won't look contrived."

The SS effect is the best part about it.

But honestly, until BF appeared on Sherry's field, I din't even realize that Crow is practically dueling Aki

I realized once Sherry's move was, without explanation, "Summon Mask Token (ATK: 1000)". With each passing move, it became more obvious, but only to viewers. This card was the wake-up call for Aki.

I started to smell something suspicious when the token summoned to Sherry's field (on Aki's side) was 700 ATK, just like Kochi. When Kogarashi appeared, I wan 100% sure

Konami did BW's backwards. Instead of release some so-so cards than giving them really awesome support / broke bosses to make them playable, they release dozens of awesome cards than later fill up the rest of the archetype with toilet paper.

Kind of a better way for them to make money IMO. They need to do this with lots more archetypes.

Except with this as a 6 star monster, Give and Take would give one of your monsters an extra six levels. That might screw up simple combos.
