The Mighty Cyber Dragons

Recommended Posts

The whole archetype is an OTK waiting to happen. Cyber Dragon can swarm. Cyber Twin can attack twice. Cyber End has piercing.

Limiter Removal makes the OTKs happen, as Cyber Twin becomes a 5600 double attack and Cyber End is an 8000 piercer.

Power Bond was released alongside the Cybers. A fusion card that doubles ATK of Machine Fusions with a risky downside that wont matter if you win that turn. Hmm...what could this be used for?

Future Fusion, Overload Fusion, and Chimeratech Overdragon were released in the same pack. Overdragon is so blatantly an OTK monster that even the anime used it to OTK the opponet who had 15000 LP.

Fortress Dragon is the only non-OTK, but it may as well be a field wipe/type killer with little to no card investment of your own.

Cyber Dragon and all of Cyber Dragon's fusions are all broken. The rest of the cards are mostly crap. End of story.
Cyber Dragon: A monster that rewards bad play or taking the second turn with a 2100 LIGHT Machine-type attacker is bad for the game. Too powerful even without its fusions.
Cyber Twin Dragon: A 2800 LIGHT Machine-type Double Attacker that could easily be summoned (sometimes even with Super Polymerization) is ridiculous. Also, ban this and Cyber End Dragon to Metamorphosis can get off the banlist.
Cyber End Dragon: Ban this and people can't use Sin Cyber End Dragon, a card that some people consider banworthy at least in a dedicated deck. Having 4000 ATK and piercing and being a LIGHT Machine doesn't help CED's case at all either. Also, ban this and CTD to get Metamorphosis off the banlist.
Chimeratech Overdragon: OTK potential at its fullest. Completely breaks Overload Fusion and puts the nail in the coffin for Future Fusion's banworthiness. It also made Cyber Eltanin work as another way to work Chimeratech's evil plan rather than with Overload Fusion.
Chimeratech Fortress Dragon: Invalidates Machine decks. Nothing more really needs to be said, not even its combo with DNA Surgery.
I'm not quite sure if Cyber Eltanin is banworthy or not, however. I'd need to test it out in an environment of no Future Fusion since that was its main feeding engine.

Cyber Dragon is good for the game by acting against slippery slope and lame duck situations.

All the fusions should be banned. Maybe Cyber End could stay, but meh, Metamorph is probably more important (if the interaction is even that bad. The game might have moved beyond it being game-breaking.)

oh forgot bout that fool.

ban him and the CyDra fusions?

oh wait, we still have Labyrinth Tank and Thousand Dragon...

CyDra fusions + FGD are the main ones.

Thing is, with 3 FuFu, Dragoon and E-Hero decks would become a hell of a lot better.

FuFu is sort of like a Foolish burial on steroids given that the monsters are fusion materials.
