Summoning Fortress, then reviving a monster with Salvo to synch into this in the same turn or even your first turn is really awesome. At best (in theory,) on your first turn, you can have this, Fortress, Gearframe, and Cydra (if your opponent had the first turn and summoned a monster) all out in one turn. You obviously wouldn't bring him out if you need a nuke, and you wouldn't tune for the former if you needed to run something over. Basically, most of the time black rose will always be a better option. You won't take out black rose from your extra deck for archfiend because you 'won't always need a nuke'. Even depending on the 'deck and situation', rose is better nearly always. It does have a second effect too you know. And...black rose is...expensive? I can get Secret Black Roses for £4 (about $6)... OT: It's runnable because it runs over and gets round Stardust, which Black Rose doesn't. Also, I've heard, it is a viable card in Scraps...
