Legend Zero
PS has more things....but I find Gimp more user friendly for me.
Jacoby746
GIMP cause it's free (and i'm cheap).
Yang Xiao-Long
Photoshop has better GFX tools, but it's way too expensive. I use GIMP because it's free, and I just can't afford Photoshop.
RickiMinaj
Photoshop... because I like the workflow, the tools, the filters, the great effects it can portray, and the numerous amounts of file types it can read.

Kaisu
Photoshop>GIMP. Sure, you have to pay, but the interface, tools and everything else is much easier and better.. GIMP is a cheap fix IMO.
Kotaro
GIMP. Not just because its free, but im used to it.

Ярополк Пономарёв
6-6 My vote is on Photoshop. It's a little messy for me so far but it has much more potential.
Marisa Kirisame-ze
I want Photoshop so bad, don't taunt me with that beautiful screencap D; But I use GIMP, since it's free and easy and I know the system really well. However, I know if I had Photoshop, I'd spend so much more time with it. Depends on what I'm doing though.
Ovedrive
GIMP. I luvz it <3 PS might have more tools and stuff, but I like GIMP 'cause it's free and I'm used to it.

Cloister
GIMP is free but not nearly as good as PS, counting the tools and stuff. Hmm, gonna go with PS. A better program with a lot of variety of tools.
TheLegenderyKingVildeChaya
i like photoshop its MUCH better (i dont know how but i got it FREE
.Corgi
Choose to not awnser, because I only use Paint. PS are pretty fun, but GIMP is too complicated in my opinion.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I'd have to say GIMP b/c it's easier for me to use + it's free (Although I do use PS as well)
ليل
Photoshop is far more superior to Gimp. ALTHOUGH, even though i own both. I still use Gimp 95% of the time only because it is the first program i adapted to, and the two are very different from each other.
Madsen
Gimp is the poor mans Photoshop. Or the non pirate mans Photoshop.
Icy
Eeeh... GIMP can do pretty much everything Photoshop can, however the process tends to be much much longer. And you may need to add other (free) programs to your computer for specialized effects. Still, the end result will always be the same if you know what you're doing. So I'm indifferent. I do use Photoshop Cs5 myself though.
Yasu
I use Photoshop CS3. Faster than CS5/Gimp.

Anyway CS3 is easier to navigate than CS5 because computer-like toolbars look nicer than weird to navigate 3-D boxes everywhere.
