White Void Posted January 21, 2011 Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 I notice they're quite fond of quick effects from the hand lately.....hmmmm, honestly not entirely sure what I think of this to be honest. Though any good player will just stop as soon as this is dropped. I'm not exactly a rulings expert but could this be discarded in response to an effect that special summons for at least one free draw? You could be lucky and draw this and you could draw the five pieces of Exodia before your opponent burns you to death. This might make it as side material in Exodia FTK. I mean, most current OTKs need at least 4-5 Special Summons, so you'll have a chance to draw into D.D. Crow, Fader, Gorz, Tragoedia, Veiler or other stuff easier. Fraz Posted January 21, 2011 Report Share Posted January 21, 2011 Veiler would be able to make red nova have 3500 attack so you'd survive the turn and would occassionally be able to negate the big fish. Trag with a big hand could let you survive the turn, then possibly steal an armory arm and make plays depending on your decktype. Crow could interrupt combos as well as bring red nova low enough for you not to lose that turn. Really depends on the strength of your hand being able to bounce back from fish otk and seeing as you just drew like 10 cards you should have a very strong hand by now. If not... play a better deck.
