If I were to guess, the guy who ran Jowgen teched it since it could be revived with Debris Dragon. Still seems like a bad idea, but that's probably why. Stardust would be destroyed during the End Phase by Archfiend's effect, as it did not attack that turn. Either way the opponent was going to lose, but still.
