Based upon the Yugi-tube, Toronto locals are some of the more competitive ones especially one at a place called Card Masters. I make less errors in judgment with IRL cards, as I have a better visual of my available stuff. There are a few issues with me trying to play IRL right now, especially at an event in Toronto. [*]I have to persuade one of my parents to waste a day, as we have only 1 car, I lack a license, and they don't want me alone in a city like that. They only give me free reign to waltz around Toronto when I'm connecting busses to get to my university in Oshawa. A friend of mine suggested siding a Reaper or 2 (or even maining) considering that Dark Hole is the only widely used destruction, and that if they are in your side nobody will think to side in destruction cards for Morphs. They might even side them out. Didn't test it though, so it's up to the Morph expert. What I'm talking about here, is not even having space to stretch out my arms. For a weekly locals event. - Yeah, but testing an incomplete version of the build I intend to use is pretty pointless. - Unfortunately, I can't do any of that. I have to wait until after exams in April, and get a job. - My family isn't poor. My parents are just saving for important stuff like the stupid-expensive law school tuition I'll need to pay for when I'm finished my undergrad ($20 000 per year, IIRC), and for a rainy day. But, sadly, this changes nothing. Until I can go to events without having to drag my parents, I can't go to events very often. Simple as that. Even if we had a second car, I'd need my G2. Went 7-3 overall (this wasn't a tourney, just in a day) 2. This wasn't affected by any of the meta too much. (the only meta deck that I had a problem with in general was GKs) 3. I only lost when Celfon fails or Dragons. REDMD rapes Morphs, imo. 4. Synchro lineup is perfect and I used everything at least once. 5. Only drew Accelerator 2 when it was needed. 6. Frame and fortress are <3 7. A lot of people were amazed at the build. My oppoinent always go after Decree, so maining Mirror Force and TT may be a good idea. Also, need better way to handle Kristya. Right now, my best counter is Gearframe + Limiter, followed by pre-emptively summoning Fortress to kill it when they summon it again. As for point #3, I find it a little funny how badly I raped Disaster Dragon back in September (Round 6 in my report, IIRC), and lol'd at a triple REDMD opening with Colossal, then lol'd even more with Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror, but I don't run either anymore. Yeah, my testing has showed that my losses against meta/popular decks are either from inexperience or misplays. for example, I tested yesterday and lost against Dragunity because I forgot I could use his Oppression. I lost against Sabers because I picked the wrong attribute for Gozen Match and couldn't draw into Radion for the nuke and sided out Decree. I tried to Book Shi En in response to his attack, etc, etc. It's good that the Synchro lineup works out. I figured that I had it down pat. But this means I can't run Exceeds... but I wouldn't really want to, unless they release one that needs 3 LV3s or 3 LV1s. I don't get same levels when I can't OTK often unless Dupe caused it. I was able to do nothing but spend my hand to burn out most of your LP. So it looks like the main issue in this deck is anti-Special Summon cards. Perhaps a few changes to the Side Deck are in order? @HaouJudai: My parents gave the OK. I'll PM my address in a few minutes. I should probably design a mat specifically for the YCS.
