Sleepy Posted February 21, 2011 Report Share Posted February 21, 2011 Its too weak on its own, and needs equips to be used. If you don't use its effect, might as well use a Normal Monster. [/quote] I loaned my friend 5 bucks for something and in exchange, he gave me his horribly outdated Ben Kei deck. I've been trying to get it up to date, but it's harder than it seems. I wouldn't use it unless it the main card in its own deck or you have a lot of equips in the deck. Even then, I'll only run one or maybe two. I did use a Ben Kei deck back on WC09, and it was pretty good. I had a shitload of equips, then had a few searchers for Ben Kei. With a good hand, I could finish the duel within a few turns. [/quote] Your whole Spell Lineup should be nothing but Equips. And then just use monsters and traps to get Ben Kei to the field, and protecting him during the Battle Phase. [/quote] I would possibly have a few non-Equip spells, but only if they add equips to your hand. Oh, with Freed the Matchless General and Marauding Captain, this card is extremely fun. Skip draw phase, add Captain/Ben Kei to your hand (depending on which one you have in your hand), Summon Captain, Special Summon Ben Kei. Ben Kei or Freed cannot be attacked. Just fun. I know everyone probably knows the combo, but I still wanted to point it out. (Note, I haven't played in a while since I just started getting back into YuGiOh, so I'm not quite sure of the rulings concerning these cards.)
