WELP, Oregon finally got its wintery dose of wonderful white powder today and I don't have to go to school.

I'm pretty stoked, Senior year is getting a little ridiculous and a break is just what I need.

How's the snow treating you guys this year? Any fun memories to share?

Haha, I live in Eugene Oregon, am myself tired of school, and a senior. Sounds like my memories are probably the same as yours.

When I was at school we only ever had one snow day, the other days they struggled to stop the kids having snowball fights, and the Principal was stupid enough to stand outside at the beginning of school....prime target, I was surprised no one did. Usually tho, by the end of the day its just slush. We don't get much in the East of England.

I'm surprised just a bit of snow surprised you (Americans and below, geographically) guys. It's very usual to snow. Actually, it's been snowing quite a bit the entire day, here. But here, this amount of snow is considered little, so we never get snow days.

In areas like southern Texas it is not usual to snow. Houston only gets 1 snowfall every 4 years on average, and then it's barely anything.

Here we get enough snow that some people actually get frustrated with it. I, for one, don't mind it at all.
Once every four years is still such a small amount, though.

So what happens if there's a snowstorm?
