Zeppeli Gyro Supreme Posted March 12, 2011 Report Share Posted March 12, 2011 If you want to go by "Don't have to" idealism then we don't have to have any other cards in the game but Pot of Greed and Exodia. The point is that it's unfair and makes duelists who happen to like those Types suffer. And cards that would come out that are good of that Type would likely not have as much light shined upon them because they don't have the right support to make them considered "useful".
