Canadian
The other day in school I was pondering to myself about the word conscience. It than occured to me that the word science can be found in conscience but is pronouced as shince. Where is the logic behind this? Theres no rule for it either. I feel like english is just saying "get it or go to another country". What am I supposed to call my class now? "Alright guys, I gotta go, its time for shince class." ...... or even "yeah, I study health shince at university!" Does english bother you sometimes?
Mandarin is the predominate Chinese dialect. English is harder to learn compared to someone who speaks french to learn spanish simply because such languages as Spanish, French, and Italian are romantic and are all based of latin almost soley however english is a combination of latin and anglo-saxon influences making it unique from other European languages. Mehmani
Mandarin was never that hard for me. Latin is easy, the Romance languages are all very easy, it's just Cyrillic or Balkans languages I find hard. Cin
Yea Russian is supposed to be very hard to learn, feel sorry for the Brits who got into the top ballet school in Russia (one of the top in the world) and have to learn Russian just so they can understand their lessons. English can be difficult in terms of spelling, because of silent letters, such as the B in Subtle.
