I just hate it when I summon a beatstick with an insane effect and then my opponent activates this card, it just makes me want to flip the table and rush out of the room.

Anyways, Solemn Judgment can really change a situation in a game in a split second, adding Solemn Warning also with this card in a Deck is like insane....

Best .thread

Only way that could make this thread MOAR AEWSUM is if it had this music

This card makes Samurais cry when you kill their gateway. This card makes limited and large-risk effects cry because they know that This is Chuck Norris as a card (yeah that is a bit bad for a joke).

Ah, Solemn Judgment. The card we love to hate. Having this down lends an entire layer of protection against...pretty much anything. It can backfire if your opponent manages to coax you into using it, only to reveal they have a backup plan that'll lead to a similar result.

There are times when the LP cost doesn't matter because whatever threat you're countering would be far more devastating than losing half your LP.

The big perk to this card is that you can ALWAYS pay the cost. Divine Wrath requires a discard and only works against monster effects. Black Horn only works against Special Summons. Solemn Warning comes closest to matching this card's power, as it can stop Spells and Traps that Special Summon, as well as Special or Normal Summons.

Fact is, this is one of the best counter cards in the game. More than once I've lost because my opponent had Judgment down. One time I even noted to my opponent "You've got Solemn, don't you?" merely because he was so confident when preparing his assault. Sure enough, my Mirror Force was blasted to pieces.

Being at 3, this card was insane. Awesome in Counter Fairies, though.
The bestest YCM Trolls 1. yugiohoverlord 2. Tempest of Reach 3. shard of stardust [s]4. Byaak[/s]
Stop trolling. Anyways, this is one of the best, non-banned cards ever. An absolute staple, I think. Life point cost should rarely matter as much, unless you'd definitely lose if you payed the life points in some other way. Unfortunately, it does't negate monster effects, unless the monster's effect summons something else.

One of the few cards I'm proud to have the original, ultra rare copy of.
