I don't think this works with Meklords since Meklords says "When", so it would miss the timing because this doesn't say 'and'. Anyways, its pretty decent in some Decks, but not really sure on that.

No, no, I don't think this would work. Meklord's summon effect isn't mandatory, so it would have to be directly after the destruction.
I could be wrong, though.
ie: You use "The White Stone of Legend" as a tribute/Synchro Material. It's effect still activates, since it's mandatory; You don't have a choice wether you search for a Blue-Eyes or not.
Then you do the same thing with Archfiend of Gilfer. The effect can't activate, since something happened before the timing could be used, causing the player to miss the timing.
