.Rai
If Escuridão ever gets released (which is unlikely), it'll just be funny watching you use their Shi En.[s] All you need to do is bait them into negating another of your Spells/Traps.[/s] Forgot about last effect >.< But it's total abuse with the six Elemental Hero Fusions that list "1 Elemental Hero + 1 of whatever attribute". evilfusion
The fact this card cannot be chained to makes it nearly impossible to stop, aside from negation cards that don't start a chain (Unicore, Spell Canceller). The release of the Omniheroes makes it epic as hell, as it can be used in Machine decks for Chimeratech, Ehero decks for the Omni-heroes or Draco-equiste. It also works with Fusion OTKs, or shenanigans with De-Fusion.

Shi En chains to a card's activation, but Super Poly specifically says effects cannot be chained to its activation. Even Solemn Judgment can't negate Super Polymerization. .Rai
To be honest, I only say that since I saw a similar thing happen once with Shi En and something I don't remember but was some key card in some Tier 4 deck >.> It was definitely funny to watch though. ~British Soul~
...anyone else noticed that it's a Quick-Play too, that makes it more amazing ...but it's astonishig how some people try to negate this when it clearly can't, and most people who try are [s]n00bs[/s] or don't know how this card works

evilfusion
Quick-Play is why it wins. Yeah, some people missed that Super Poly is awesome because it can't be countered. I recall that the Japanese version of GX had Haou explicitly remark when activating it: "No card can counter it".

HaouJudai
Super Poly is not being used correctly in hero decks. Hero fusion decks should be main decking trap negation and using cards like forbidden chalice/lance, super poly and gemini spark to OTK quickly. Here's an example. My opponent has a LS Wulf face up. I summon Prisma - dump sparkman - dark calling into lightning golem - blow up wulf w/ golem - miracle stratos and ocean/kots/penguin soldier/snowman eater for ab0 - 1700 2400 2500 1400 LP remaining - play super poly - discard w/e - into 3200 Atk Shining using golem and prisma - gg I did this yesterday in WC10 - super poly is so under-utilized in the hero metagame it's crazy. You can super poly during your own battle phase to push for game. If they have a swarm do it w/ Ab0 to clear the swarm and still be able to attack during battle. evilfusion
I did mention once before how your examples have more setup and convenience than the average point you're trying to make, didn't I? The above example already makes several huge assumptions about the state of the game and cards available to you at the time, but you almost seem to be implying that's an average early game move. Super Poly is hardly used in the first place. And while an OTK strategy is what Super Poly can be best utilized in, the above example is a bit contrived.
