It's simply a matter of it not being used as much. Even though this card's effects discards a DARK monster as a cost (which means Dark Worlds can't activate their effects), it can still be used in decks that are dedicated on bringing out DAD. Provided, its the build that mains Veil of Darkness as well, and you could Summon this -> Discard a bunch of DARKs -> Attack with a 4000+ monster.
