Time Psyduck Posted May 30, 2011 Report Share Posted May 30, 2011 You can't summon 34 with just anything - Marauding Captain (without this) and Tour Guide can only get two monsters out, and use your Normal Summon to do it. Even the Bugmen need two turns or a SS to get the three of them out. Hyena can get you two Lv3's out without having to use your Normal Summon to do it - Super-Nimble Mega Hamster or Giant Rat can search it out, or you can use Limit Reverse on one in your grave, or whatever - meaning you can then Normal Summon another Lv3 to get the third monster. Marauding Captain just combines the SS of Hyena 1 with the NS of the 3rd monster. In summary, Hyena may not make 34 alone, but it makes it easier to do it.
