I'd rather side Raging Earth [/sarcasm]

Read my post carefully. They are annoying (not hard) to duel against, but the focus I am stating is would GKs have an even greater impact on the TCG when GENF is released.

iirc, Puppet Plant works too.

Anyway, GKs rely on a Overkill card to control the game. Suddenly losing ALL your monsters in your hand, followed up by having to show your hand to the foe is very devastating, even more so when followed up by dark hole.

I like the deck. I think they're strong and playable without being overly cheap, although Royal Tribute is pushing it quite a bit. I don't know how they match up to other top-tier decks, but most decks I've used tend to be on equal footing with them (except Dark World, which was stronger by default 9/10), making for a fun duel if my hand wasn't awful.

RT is overkill.

It not only makes both players lose monsters, which Gks don't care about, due to their easy ability to get them back with stele, it requires both players to show their hands to their opponent. It leaves the other player pecking for resources while the Gravekeeper player can easy regain hand advantage.

At Euros Qualifier today I played against Gravekeepers and games 1 and 3 he got first turn Royal Tribute hitting 5 monsters. I won game 2 without a problem. It annoyed me. I would've probably qualified for Euros if he hadn't sacked me like a b*atch (and if I hadn't made my one misplay of the day in the last round).

Well, Royal Tribute was made WAY back in the days of PGD, and it wasn't as big a deal then. Come to think of it, I don't think GKs really had the power to pull it off consistently until Commandant, and Recruiter really bumped the deck up.

Remember when people said Recruiter was overhyped because it couldn't search Guard or Spy?
