Thor, Lord of the Aesir

Recommended Posts

He uses a pony for a Tuner. Your argument is invalid.
1 "Nordic Beast" Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn, you can negate the effects of all face-up monsters your opponent controls, until the End Phase. During the End Phase, if this face-up card on the field was destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to the Graveyard this turn, you can remove from play 1 "Nordic Beast" Tuner monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. When it is Special Summoned by this effect, inflict 800 damage to your opponent.

I've found Thor to not only be ridiculous easy to summon, but also very fun due to how consistent Nordic Beasts are in Wc11.

I don't get why Thor is an EARTH Attribute and Beast-Warrior...he should be LIGHT Attribute since he's the Norse God of Thunder and his type should be just Warrior...hmmm...Konami sometimes I just wonder...
It WAS Divine-Beast and DIVINE Attribute in the anime.

So they just changed to something random.

He's like Shi En on steroids.

Considering they cant have more then 3 monsters that are DIVINE/Divine-Beast...
Though LIGHT would have made a little more sense, but then again, LIGHT was reserved for Odin.

Oh, and Orca Mega Fortress of Darkness is a Sea Serpent, when Fortress Whale is a Fish.
So.... yea.

The negate monster effects makes him a pain to face. You pretty much have to spin or remove him. He's like Shi En on steroids.
No it isn't.

Shi En kills a spell/trap a turn, which can be much worse.

Also, this only works during the controler's turn, only negates monsters face-up at the time of activation, and doesn't go to the opponent's turn.

The self revival is a b**** to face though.

But thats only really limited to 3 uses, though.
....Though it would have been nice if it could revive regardless of who destroyed it, so we could be all cool-like with a semi-anime version of Thor.

Thor being a Beast-Warrior type makes as much sense as Odin being a Fairy. If anything these two should be Warrior, or at least make Thor Thunder for god sakes.

Your logic makes as much sense as Fire Kraken.

Then again, Konami's logic makes as much sense as Pinkie Pie.
(Yes, I went there)

There is always a method to my madness, there just happens to be an over abundant amount of madness, and very little to no method.

WIND Insect

*Thor explodes*

Actually, they changed the type to something more Tuner appropriate.
Odin is a Fairy because his Tuner is a Fairy.
Same with Loki.
Thor is a Beast-Warrior because his Tuner is a Beast, and he isn't quite Warrior, so they went with the middle choice.

Don't listen to them unless you know they're from here.
