Its effect(s) is negated and it cannot attack. If it is destroyed, destroy this card.[/quote]Apparently this is better this format. Should I get some over my Prisons?

I made a topic about this card a while back...no one discussed it.

This card is so good this format. Although Veiler is a tuner and can be a surprise, this card is in my eyes a lot better.

Pros:
1) This card can be used OUTSIDE of the main phase, and on your turn, compared to Veiler's restrictions.
2) The Monster cannot attack, so allows for some battle phase shenangians
3) Can be used with Trunade/Scrap Dragon for combos.
4) Not many people realize this card still exists and often rush into this after I tell them I play 0 veiler

Cons:
1) A lot more counters to this card
2) MST/ Dust Tornado means you can force plays through against this.
3) Veiler is harder to negate
4) This card doesn't fuel Sorc/Avarice
5) It isn't a tuner.

People don't Auto go to the Battle Phase till they + X you to death this days...and by then they have enough of removal to deal with backrow...But this + Xs comes from the effect of certain monsters that this card helps to lock down...

in theory they are good ATM...and they are actually a lot more effective even when it is not plain removal...sometimes a GOOD control cards is needed and this one is not only good but it is also quite flexible...
