Solemn Silver
Pretty much my favorite decktype, I've been using them since DREV was released. Now I don't mind if some for fun players use stuff like kong, multiple golem, but the two things that piss me off about scrap players, make ti for fun or comptetitive,: When the players argues that 2 Chimeras are enough. When they say shark engine is "good". The first one is the worst though.. Anyway, enough of my life story, how do you guys feel about the awesome deck that doesnt see too much love? =[
This Account is Unplayable
3 Chimeras is best, imo. Archetype was a good idea, and deserves more good support when it comes to spells and traps. Personally I only play fun Scraps, they're not quite good enough for meta.
evilfusion
The entire archetype screams "Play with Machine Emperors!" Extremely interesting and formidable deck, helped by the generic level 8 monstrosity that is Scrap Dragon.
Brandon Michael Geren
The entire archetype screams "Play with Machine Emperors!" evilfusion
I didn't actually say you should (although Granel Scraps has promise). But Scraps destroying themselves are prime for Machine Emperors. I actually dont know the "right" way to play Scraps. How about you illuminate me a bit? Of course, that isn't the "professional" build either, but its the variant that I like.
Scraps are more or less a control type deck, based on gaining many +0's and +1's on chains. With the recent Spike of Horn of the phantom beast, they see alot more T.G. Beatdown type play instead of absurd synchro with scrap dragon. I like to swtich between styles during a game, and I'd like to say I'm pretty good with scraps, since its th only deck I run besides HEROs. Bolded is short answer. And geartown Scraps a hella-fun. Bringerofcake
I personally prefer pure Scraps, just because of my general dislike of Keepers when I first built the deck, then my lack of funds when Tengu came out.
CDDRodrigo
Very fun deck, I just wish it was a tad faster, and not reliant on Scrap D too much.
El Majishan
I agree with ALT+WIN, It is control based that focuses on getting +0 and +1 but I am against the beat down style that uses Horn. I personally believe the deck should focus on getting their + off their synchros and slowing down the game as much as possible. And they whole Meklord thing is just fun tech...you get a free drop off Scrapstorm/Goblin/Dragons...not to mention Torrential/Mirror Force and any other destruction cards you opponent may run.... that usually results in at least a +0 and forces your opponent waste their resources dealing with it while you still have Chimera plays and what not. That's just my 2 cents....I'm not an expert on the deck..I just know what works for me.
Tengu made the deck more beatdownish with horn than synchro spam. Its a slow deck for a reason, the original idea is controling the opponents card advantage. ...wat...who would say that? When they say shark engine is "good". It still kewl
I made Scraps a while ago on DN...it did use 3 Scrap Shark, and 2-3 Wisel, along with 2 Scrap Breaker. Shark along with Scrap Storm gives them huge dumping power. -Berserker-
I'm working in a Kong deck. It will have 3x Scrap Kong, 3xGreen Baboon, Some Meklord Emperors, By Order of the Emperor and other stuff. It will pwn locals.
