Interesting. To FB-ish for me, but oh well.

I faced a Library version today...Spirit Reaper after BRD nuke is fun. XD

But we all lost the ability to post on each others walls. One FB feature for another.

I remember ages ago before any of the retarded plant synchro decks when I played Exodia. I managed to draw my whole deck on turn 1 which was needed because the last piece was at the bottom of my deck.

OT: Instant win conditions are dumb.

Exodia is inconsistent purely because the game is too fast, so the only workable version is an FTK build, and those may increase in consistency due to Momentary Truce, but they're still not "good".

Instant win conditions are interesting to some degree, but most of them are just too reliant on some factor to work. Exodia requires draw power to death. Destiny Board requires waiting 4 turns and hoping your opponent doesn't use S/T destruction. Final Countdown is hilarious. Vennominaga is ungodly hard to bring out, and you're much, much more likely to win by zero-ing your opponent's LP than by its effect.

Observation number one: The probability of drawing these cards are astronomical. Observation number 2: Five cards mean it is difficult to add them all to your hand via effects, as you can only have up to 3 copies of a card. Observation number 3: Your opponent is likely to pwn you during your futile attempt to assemble Exodia. Conclusion: It sucks. Exodia is only effective against a Deck that forces you to draw until you Deck Out.

All observations are wrong.

1. Good Exodia run 5-card decks.
2. Which is why you run several different cards.
3. Not if you win first turn.
Comments on Conclusion: Drawing till Deck-Out is a bad deck for your opponent to play and is near non-existant.

That's why you run these cards that say something like "blah blah blah draw a card".

Also, why would YCMaker take away our neg rep button :(

All Exodia pieces are limited to 1 per Deck each. They have been there for almost a decade.

Low Level
Spellcasters
DARK
Normal
Low ATK

^all the above traits are easy to search.

Some drawing effects:
-Upstart Goblin, Jar of Greed, Jar Turtle, Legacy of Yata, Accumulated Fortune, Hyper Librarian, Royal Magical Library, Allure of Darkness, Common Charity, Heart of the Underdog, Spititual Dark Art - Greed, Treasure Map, Hand Destruction, Card Destruction, Dark Mimic LV1, Dark Mimic LV3, Scalangel, Dekoichi, Reckless Greed, Golden Bamboo Sword, Cards of Consonance, Trade-In, Dark Knight Parshath, Airknight Parshath, Sky Paladin, Blizzed Defender of the Ice Barrier, Destiny Draw, Cards from the Sky, Cards for Black Feathers, Rare Value.....

Some searching and adding effects:
Sangan, Emissary of the Afterlife,Pot of Duality, Gold Sarcophagus, D.D. Capsule....

That was only going over legal stuff and I probably left some important cards out; the list keeps going.
Point 3 is not necessarily true. I've seen stall variants that are fairly effective in casual.
Conclusion: Exodia Decks are meant to draw Exodia on their own so you don't need your opponent for it [/countering conclusion]

Granted that your comment has already been replied by other people, I have to say I did it more elaborately xD

Lastly, you seem to be quoting Astral from Zexal, which I find amusing......

Wasn't the banned/limited list first created to limit the Exodia pieces? I can't remember clearly because I was about 6 (I did play the game when I was 6) but I think that's what happened. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyways, there is a 3 card version of it known and Wall of Revealing Light, Life Equalizer and Blasting the Ruins. Some versions don't even need Wall of Revealing Light. In conclusion, Exodia is inconsistent and unneeded.

Exodia the Underdog

1x Exodia the Forbidden One
4x Exodia limbs
3x Heart of the Underdog
3x Reload
29x Normal monsters (or Simorgh, Bird of Ancestry for kicks)

Add normal tuners or Hand Destruction as you like.
The best variant runs 3x Veil of Darkness as well and DARK Normal Monsters. Still, it's a terrible deck.

what the hell why can't I dislike things

also I'm back from my ban guise
I'm too awesome to dislike. =D

I've actually seen an increase of Exodia decks where the person quits if they can't FTK you. Happened 3 times yesterday. =l
