Witch has Monk.
Sangan has Limit Reverse and Tour Guide.
Witch can search for stronger targets, but Sangan is a lot more abusable.

Though if you [i]DID[/i] want all sort of chaos to happen in Yugimonz, then put Graceful Charity, Painful Choice, and Exchange of the Spirit@1

Sangan > Witch

Sangan is far more abusable with other cards, the game would actually be better if they swapped places on the list. Only real things witch can get that sangan can't is DAD, monarchs and tengu. Sanagn can also actually get some decent stuff even witch can't, like debris dragon. Either way, both should be at 0.

Ok, so I'm dead wrong that Sangan is easier to bring out of the deck, abuse and reuse than witch?
And I'm dead wrong that Monster Reborn is a costless broken staple?

Tour Guide gave Sangan more playability on what it had. Earlier, a post made fun of the Debris argument you put forward. Furthermore, not only can Witch grab Monarchs/Tengu/DAD, but it can Grab Tour Guide, which would grab Sangan. Witch can also grab almost anything Sangan can, sans DEBRIS, and terrible cards like the Crashbugs. How about Blackwings? Most Zombies? Sangan's targets and Witch's targets are similar, but Witch has far more uses.

You're dead wrong about Reborn being the problem. The staples were introduced to see how much of a ripple they had, and they barely had any. The staples that were re-introduced weren't the problem with the format, Tengu,Plants,Fishborg or Big Fish, and the assorted Six Sams cards (KAgemusha, Shi En, Gateway, United) were the problem.

- Most of witches extra targets are mediocre anyway. Blackwings: Shurua and bora, big deal. Most zombies, like master? Big deal, it's not like zombies are difficult to get out of the deck anyway.

I never said Reborn was THE problem, I said it was A problem. No individual card is THE problem, the whole format is just chock full of overpowered cards. Saying that one broken card is ok because there are other more broken cards still doesn't mean it's acceptable for the other broken card to exist. All reborn does is make fast tier 1 decks even faster. Every single deck that topped plays this card, that should tell you something about its power and how it's no brainer to play. Auto-include cards like that should simply not exist. Also, staple spell cards have proved that they are a significant problem, trunade being the main offender. You can't tell me that it hasn't had a ridiculous effect on the game. Mind control is another criminal, further adding speed to fast synchro/xyz spam decks in a similar fashion to reborn. As I have said, ALL of these spells all need to be banned, they do no good for the game whatsoever.

Again, never said Reborn was okay, so lrn2read. It doesn't speed up, really, as it's a backup plan, often times, and just an extra use at others, and, honestly, has had no real effect on the Meta, It just shouldn't be around. Unlike Trunade or Mind Control, Reborn appeared with Dark Hole, and people were like "OH NOES!!!1!!!!11!1!!!!!!11!eleven!11!!!!", and then they noticed... NOTHING CHANGED. Sams and Plants were still Sams and Plants.

So, again, Reborn/Dark Hole aren't the problem, cards like Librarian and Fishborg and Gateway are.

I like it when everyone uses the same spells. whats the problem with that? Also, Giant Trunade is great, whats your problem with it? clearing your opponents field for a turn, getting your set-up while your opponent has to redo theirs. Great stuff. Not to mention, its one of the few ways certain decks can get out of situations, I.E. Royal Oppression + full backrow.

Also, I like Librarian. whats the problem with it? and Gateway is fine too.

It is a problem when the same spells everyone is using are all broken. That situation you described about needing to keep trunade is only a problem because the backrow cards are busted as well. Summon negation such as oppression, warning and judgment should never have been made. It is a joke to think that someone in Konami's R&D department thought that paying a small amount of life points was a suitable cost for negating something as important as a summon. The only reason those cards are "needed" in todays game are because the monsters are all broken, and that's where the problem begun. OP'd monsters were made > summon negation was made to counter OP'd monsters > OP'd field clearers are used to allow player to summon his OP'd monsters again. So, all 3 need to be hit. First, hit all the broken monsters, then hit the broken back row cards, then get rid of the field clearers. Voila, we have a fun, skillful and interactive game again.

Dropping the Sangan argument, I see? =3

... No they didn't. Nothing changed when they were introduced. The game stayed exactly the same, with 2 returned staples that changed, well, nothing at all.

You were the one who bailed out of the Sangan argument, you didn't follow up on my last post about him, so I assumed you had come to your senses. And as almost any other player will tell you, the game certainly didn't stay the same with Reborn and Hole back.
