I honestly wasn't even thinking about Apprentice Magician. Mang, I'm so good at making cards that I give decent cards a better use without even doing any research.

Finally, a decent Xyz with Spell Counters (or the only one for that matter). I've been waiting for such a card to come along.

This card is pretty decent. It's effect is just flexible and nice, saying "No Spellcasters? Detach from me instead!" I'm glad you didn't make the absolute noobish mistake of not using the Once per turn item there, otherwise this card would be broken as sh*t. It's very efficient for Spell Counter Decks, especially for Edymion (I hope I spelt it right, but I don't care). Actually, this card would complement him nicely. And don't forget the Arcanite Magicians for that matter. I don't think it's flexible enough for the Dark Magicians, but considering how far you've branched (and that it is a dead archetype) I'd say well done.
