Ieyasu Tokugawa Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 Alright then, this is my own version of the Numbers tourney. I'll have an explanation and a few rules. Basically in this tourney, you are reserving your numbers in secret. You can pick from any of the revealed Numbers (using proxies if needed). In order to enter, you must pm me the number you are using and a Decklist that has SOME combination of monsters to bring out your Number. Your deck doesn't have to be centered around your number, but I don't want you entering with Galaxy Queen using a Deck that's not running any level 1s. Eliminations is going to work a little differently though. Once we begin, you will be told your target. Only you know who you will be hunting, unless you decide to publicly announce it. Your goal is to go after this person and try to get them to duel you. Once you enter a duel with your target, you must give some hint that you are the one hunting them. For example, Evilfusion would say "Allow me to collect your Numbers along with your souls." At this point, if the other person is not running their Numbers deck, they must switch over and duel, and they cannot back down (unless there's a whole timing issue, then you must duel ASAP). Once you defeat their target, they are eliminated, you get the OPTION to use your opponent's Number in your deck, and you get the opponent's target as your own. If you lose against your target, however. It works in reverse. You are eliminated, your opponent gets the option of running your number, and your hunter gets your target. You can decide how your duels work with your opponent. You can choose whether to play matches, and you can choose to do crazy stuff like 4000 LP or Draw 2 cards every Draw Phase. THE BRACKETS ARE NOT RANDOMIZED. I made the list myself so that you have to comepletely dominate to end up with all the good numbers while your opponent only has Acid Golem and Freezerdon. There may be some hiccups in the list, but I'm trying to be fair. And remember, nobody is supposed to know what your number is. Not sure exactly what, but i.e. only Xyz no Synchros, or no non-Number Xyz, maybe even only Numbers in the Extra Deck. Or maybe say you can have up to 5 non-Numbers cards (Synchros and Xyz) in your Extra Deck. Even if we don't have to use our Number, we should be strongly encouraged to play it.
