You only blind MST if you're bad or are going for game.

And you only use Heavy when you draw it if you're bad/in a situation where you can major plus.

He's not wrong...you never us MST when you first draw it, unless you're in a really tight situation...(I know I'm taking taking your material, Legend, but it's true...)

The situation where you know your opponent is probably not going to set anything more, and that you need that removal to make sure your set up goes through.

One of those mind game cards.
Players usually are careful of this card like they are careful with Heavy.
I personally switch 1 or 2 monsters to Defense Position occasionally as a precaution to this card (or Summon Stardust). It has its way to limit overextention and reckless charging. I sometimes check the Graveyards multiple times in a Duel just to make sure this card is not there yet (although I play casuals mostly)

The format doesn't let it work properly, but it being a possibility can still cause paranoia.
I used to fall flat against it with 3+ monsters destroyed when I started playing long ago.
Thinking about how to get the least looses possible when playing against this is a way of enforcing playing smart.

Good card, still works great.

Half of those counters screw TT anyway, so Mirror Force is still a solid choice. (If you have room.)

The problem is... Torrential stops crap BEFORE it happens. Kill Birdman+Balls pre-Trish.

MF is just too slow for Being a staple, sadly...

I disagree. Mirror Force can still save you from getting slaughtered, and isn't common enough for people to be expecting. TT is always going to be there. In every deck.

Plus, I don't think I need to mention that TT nukes your field.

Doesn't change the fact that most decks nowadays don't have room for both, and if you don't run Torrential you're doing it wrong.

Then Trish banishes your mirror and proceeds to do to you what he did to the Duel Terminal Planet ._.

And there are many cards that want you to/don't mind nuking yourself.,T.G., Darksoul, Sangan, and much more.
