Ieyasu Tokugawa
Trypanophobia (the fear of needles) is probably the closes I can come to describing my fear of sharp objects, mostly because it usually involves needles. Basically, I am scared as sh*t of any sharp object piercing my skin, whether it be a fork or a needle. Hell, it doesn't even have to be sharp, I one nearly passed out because of an IV being put into my arm (I would have if it wasn't for the smelling salts). Also got physically ill when I got my meningitis shot. Discuss these strange fears.
TwinSeed
I'm afraid of heights (themselves and falling.) I'm also terrified of the dark (itself).
Yasu
I fear my own reflection. And dogs. Yes, even chihuahuas.

Bull3tM0nk3y
I have what you have. My mom sews, and she loses her needles sometimes. I feel scared when it happens. Maybe due to when I was 5, I had a toothpick go up my big toe of my right foot. I did not walk for three days. I'm also scared of spiders. Creepy f#ckers.... Sar19
I'm not scared of all sharp objects, but needles freak the living daylights out of me and always have. I also once stapled my thumb, so for a little while I was scared of staplers. Oh, did I mention that I quiver in fear whenever I spot a wasp anywhere near me? Sweetie Belle
I can't think of anything I have a definite fear of. I was dropped into 4 ft. deep water when I was little, but I never experienced PTS. So I guess I don't have one? Unless I'm just stupid and reckless and I charge headfirst into anything I'd be afraid of? Well, I am startled easily and somewhat jumpy.... Sleepy
I fear many things. -It take a lot of courage for me to get shots, There are knifes and stuff like that to what I don't even react but when it comes to needles O_o -Fear of heights, but that's just the normal, I wouldn't considerate this a serious one. -Fear of the dark, which doesn't always happen. It really depends on my mood. So its normal I think... -Fear of dogs (yes me too). I can get along with the two we have at home and two more in the neighborhood, but most random dogs passing by almost make me want to climb up the cars. This one in particular people tell me that is ridiculous. I've gone as far as not entering friends' houses because of their dog(s) even when I have spent like an hour to get there. >.<" Fears are caused by many different things. Fear of heights its just a natural mechanism in the body to pretty much just inform you that you are at risk in that particular place. People don't usually go unscratched from 2+ stories tall falls after all. Fear of the dark is also natural. Being in a place where you don't have all five of your senses triggers this alert. Even when its a known place to you. Its a reflect that some learn to dominate. I have no defensive arguments towards needles though >.<" My personal dog thing is due (probably) to the experiences I've had with dogs. I've been ganged up on by 3 dogs when randomly walking by, have been chased by a dog until the end of the street when he suddenly wanted to stop out of the blue, and even an old dog from my house (already long gone by now) tried to attack me a couple of times when I was a little kid. Sorry for the extra long comment BTW.

Needles often cause a sharp pain. Pain is an indication of danger, and, as a human, you want to avoid it. Or something like that. I'm not good at putting words sentence together to make. Tentacruel
I've never had a shot, meaning I've never been vaccinated for anything. *Everyone runs in fear* OT: I can beat you guys. I have hypnophobia, the fear of sleep. The fear of the dark. The fear of heights. The fear of large dogs. The fear of confrontations. And weirdest of all, the fear of having my penis cut off. I wish I was joking, but I literately cringe every time I see scissors.
Makο
I don't get why so many people are afraid of heights. I LOVE being high up in the air. Whether it be a few feet or a mile, it's all awesome. I'm afraid of the open ocean. ...I don't exactly like bugs, but I can live with it. Not exactly friendly with spiders... ...Umm... Well, sharp objects are ok... ... I don't think I'm actually afraid of many things. @ADHD ...I...it...you... That's just... I- ... I DON'T EVEN KNOW. CrystalCyae
Lets see.... *Afraid to death of spiders. Especially Minecarft ones. *shudders* *Used to be afraid of the dark. Mainly because of some scary ride I went on when I was like 2. *Afraid of bees. I've been stung by one. Scared forever. *Afraid of my brother. Seriously. He can be a beast when my sister pisses him off. *Afraid of really loud noises. They scare the hebejeebies outta me. *Afraid of depth. Mainly involving water, as I am a crappy swimmer. *Afraid of throwing up. That's self explanatory. *Afraid of snakes. The creepy slithery bastards. I have a a fair few fears. I'm not afraid of sharp objects though. Mainly because I've never been vaccinated either.
