It's the beginning of my theory on Yu-Gi-Oh!

This is all obvious...

...is what I'd like to say. But this is actually very useful information. People have a habit of thinking bad matchup is just another way of saying butthurt.

Some of the best decks get their power from being a mix of different styles. Agents are the obvious example, since they have Hyperion and Kristya, which essentially exemplify the deck's two abilities: destruction and control. Remember when people cared about Tech Genus? Even if they're not the best deck, they have virtually no weaknesses. Skill Drain, [s]Royal Oppression[/s], and Rai-Oh essentially prevent your opponent from making any substantive plays, and the T.G. search power combined with Horn gives them enough advantage to invest in something like Skill Drain.

Are you going to explain/theorycraft tech choices at all and how they break up the rock paper scissors concept slightly?
[/quote]

Of course. Mainly going to be covered as an article about Lizards, and another article about hybrid decks.

Also, worth mentioning that the T.G. main engine - Rush Rhino can be splashed in innumerous decks, since they are extremely versatile. Agents, Plants, Junk Doppel... All of these decks benefits from the Cy-Dra-esque effect of Striker and the fact that it's a tuner, and the bigger version of Doppel Warrior of Warwolf.

I'm glad someone have the knack to put this up, this one would explain more better than i can (at the card advantage thread) when i was talking about each deck of a formula of their own to be structured in order to bring out their plays. surely this show the 5 central yet basic concept core of decks. Also you should add that there are decks that can be mix like you said that some decks that is one thing but also veering into controls (rock), another word there a mix like paper/rock or Scissor/Paper and so on.

I will, but in the mean time, I'll leave you with this for hybrids:
