evilfusion
Briefly, when Kaito won it and squeezed the Number from the guy's soul in episode 13.
Toffee.
Briefly
Which stat? Because I don't really remember the anime showing anything, except Galaxy-Eyes attacking for game.

After Kaito uses Photon Hand, he squeezes the stolen soul and it disappears, leaving the Number card behind. Since it's unobscured in his palm, you can clearly see it's a Rank 1, and closer examination shows it has 500 ATK and 600 DEF.
DARKPLANT RISING
I sorta wonder why the guy using this thought he could beat Kaito.
evilfusion
Numbers have that tendency to drastically improve someone's confidence. Rikuo and Kaio wanted to rob a museum, remember, but after they lost the Numbers, they couldn't remember what possessed them to try and do that, and freaked out when they saw Shark. And really, in the Yu-Gi-Oh world, duelists ALWAYS think they can defeat someone. He did seem pretty shocked and horrified at how good Kaito was. The Warden
It's not confidence the Number's improve, but they instead amplify the desires and darkness of the holder's heart. An example is the teacher, whilst he acted like a jerk due to the greater darkness in him, his aim was rather pure and selfless.
evilfusion
I say confidence (even though the show explicitly says it amplifies desires for better or worse) because of the following examples: -Number 83 made Fuya adopt the Robin personality, which in itself is different due to the sheer confidence compared to Fuya's meeker personality. -Number 56 made a guy take over a mall WITH A BASEBALL BAT. He was also convinced he could defeat Kaito, the idi-*shot* -Number 61 and 19 made Rikuo and Kaio act differently, according to their brother, and after the Numbers were removed, they seemed afraid of Shark and completely unable to explain why they ever wanted to commit card theft. The Warden
If I recall, Number 83 amplified Fuya's desire to 'protect' the name of D.Desp Robin at all costs, thus why she took on the appearance of Galaxy Queen, Robin's mother. Hence he became so obsessed with fulfilling that desire he became Robin.

Airride
Yuma was unaffected by the time-freeze because he had Numbers. Kaito explained this during their confrontation. The duel started, Astral noted that a duel was starting, and then the guy screamed. Then the opening plays, and Number 56 is inexplicably on the field, and Galaxy-Eyes attacks for game.
The duel took place during the opening. Duh. The guy screamed maybe because time froze or Kaito summoned galaxy eyes in 1 turn?
