It is highly possible that there is life somewhere out there, as we cannot even begin to comprehend an end to the universe, assumably making it infinite, which really does make the odds of other life - intelligent or not - highly likely. Whether we'll ever make contact, though, is a different question entirely. Personally, I'd like to think that other life would function very similar to ours. Using our own galaxy as an example, life is only found on Earth, with the living conditions given. So, in theory, another planet with life would need very, very similar conditions to flourish. [/quote] I actually and honestly believe that we humans are the aliens as I believe in Ancient Astronaut Theorism... I truly believe that we were brought here by aliens possibly due to problems arising on their planet or such other... The big question I raise is... Why would they help us through history but not reveal themselves? Wouldn't that make things easier?
