Hm? Meaning what? DWs are still a dangerous deck and this is one of the reasons why.

I don't see how my words can be taken any other way then what I posted. o.0

I'm not saying DWs are bad, but everyone seems to think that their fame will last forever.

You said the hype was unneeded. The easiest way to interpret that is that it was overhyped. Indicating the deck and cards are not as strong as people thought. But they are still extremely good, which is why your statement was perplexing.

Will they stay good forever? Unlikely. Decks fall in and out of favor constantly.

I know, I'm saying they're overhyped. I consider them Tier 1-ish, but not what everyone makes them out to be.

Ok let's say a member of Yugioh Card Maker has been posting OVER AND OVER (lolz :D ) about searching for a decklist - AND NO ONE HAS IT!!!! *pulls hair out* - I've searched PJ, DGz, Google and I cannot find this freaking list.

The Dark Gaia OTK for the Dark World build - is this a shot in the dark at it?

3 Grapha
3 Valkyrion
3 Broww
3 Snoww
3 KM Guardian
1 Morphing Jar
1 Gaia Plate
1 Grand Mole

3 Upstart
3 Dark Calling
3 MegaMorph
3 Gates of DW
3 DWD
3 Trade In
2 Mst
1 Card Destruction
1 Heavy

3 Dark Gaia

I'm REALLY thinking of testing Imperial Iron Wall, just to protect this.

But Gates to Dark World...!

Has anyone else noticed that the OCG for this actually makes sense, as opposed to Snoww and Latinum?

My theory is that because Grapha's secondary effect affects the hand, it doesn't do any targeting for its secondary effect before resolution. What most Dark Worlds have been doing lately is

Trigger: Secondary Effect targets; Effect, and then secondary effect applies.

So Grapha is written

When discarded: target card to destroy; destroy target, secondary effect is applicable.

I assume that Sillva will be written the same was as Grapha, as it's another secondary effect that affects the hand.

Thought so. Proves my point.

As another thought, knowing how the DW effects work, what would be the best way with the new OCG to establish when and where it applies its effects? Using Goldd as an example.

How Goldd works: When Goldd is discarded, it is SSed. When an opponent discards Goldd, you also target 2 cards to destroy. At the same time Goldd is SSed, the targeted cards are destroyed.

If you write Goldd the same way Grapha is written, that is, saying "then, if it was discarded by an opponent's effect...", that establishes that Goldd does not target, but because it targets, it can't be written that way. Effects that target are followed by a semi-colon. But it still gets an effect to SS if the opponent doesn't discard it, so the targeting can't be written alongside the Trigger.

So, first the Trigger. "When this card is discarded to the Graveyard by a card effect:" Now you need to establish it targets cards, but you have to specify that the opponent must be the one to discard it. "If this card was discarded by an opponent's card effect, you can target up to 2 cards your opponent controls;" And now the effect resolution, keeping in mind the destruction doesn't occur if the Summon is negated. "Special Summon this card from the Graveyard, then destroy the targets (if any)."

*looks up Goldd's new text* And there we go. Close enough.

GASP!
if there's a card that changes the attribute of monsters in your hand, imagine this x3 + allure of darkness.
